Alrighty, first for introductions:
I've been around for the last few ages of Monarchy, and I've always posted under the name Raige, I think.
Now, for this character:
Name: Raige Vryce
Age: 39
Race: Human
Description: Raige is not a very tall man, only 6' tall, but is very muscular from years spent fighting for others' pleasures. He has scars crisscrossing his torso and arms, mostly hairline ones, that speak of his past occupation for years as a pit-fighter. He is very dark-skinned, and has pure silver shoulder-length hair that he keeps in braids. His eyes are an odd shade of gray, and he has several tribal tattoos on his arms, back, and one on his chest, above his heart.
History: Raige was born to a family of desert nomads. His early childhood was spent carefree and free, born in the saddle he learned to ride at a very young age. His family was killed and he and his three brothers were all taken captives. He was seperated from his brothers when they went to the slave markets, where he was sold to a fight master. From the age of 13 he was trained and honed into a fine killing machine, when at age 17 he entered his first pit-fight. For the next ten years, he lived gloriously as a champion fighter, until the barbaric sport was made illegal. He was released into the world, and had a very hard time making the transition, until he realized that someone with his training could make a decent living as a bounty hunter. He followed that occupation for the next five years, before he grew tired of it. He retired from that business and began to travel the world, finding work when he needed to (there was always work for someone with a strong back, or a good sword arm). He made for himself a home high in the mountains, befriending travelers that happened to stumble across his home. He would've stayed there, if he wouldn't have come home one day from hunting to find his little home demolished, his small herd of goats obliterated, his small happy life gone. He packed what few belongings he had, and travelled out of the mountains to find a new life elsewhere.
Annnd, if this is acceptable, I'll figure some way to throw myself into the story somewheres.
