Loric...I'm sure I posted with you back some time ago. I also hung around the boards a bit during the times of Monarchy, under the name Rhuobhe. Used to post quite a bit in guilds and rp. Disappeared for a while, and have shifted from Australia to New Zealand in the meantime.

Good to be back, and nice to meet you all.

Rhuobhe!!! A name I definitely remember! Very glad to have you here. Your rp, as I remember, was topnotch. :)

Quick note - I'm editing my post so that Taris is now journeying south (to place him closer to the rest of the group more quickly).

Alrighty, first for introductions:
I've been around for the last few ages of Monarchy, and I've always posted under the name Raige, I think.

Now, for this character:

Name: Raige Vryce
Age: 39
Race: Human
Description: Raige is not a very tall man, only 6' tall, but is very muscular from years spent fighting for others' pleasures. He has scars crisscrossing his torso and arms, mostly hairline ones, that speak of his past occupation for years as a pit-fighter. He is very dark-skinned, and has pure silver shoulder-length hair that he keeps in braids. His eyes are an odd shade of gray, and he has several tribal tattoos on his arms, back, and one on his chest, above his heart.
History: Raige was born to a family of desert nomads. His early childhood was spent carefree and free, born in the saddle he learned to ride at a very young age. His family was killed and he and his three brothers were all taken captives. He was seperated from his brothers when they went to the slave markets, where he was sold to a fight master. From the age of 13 he was trained and honed into a fine killing machine, when at age 17 he entered his first pit-fight. For the next ten years, he lived gloriously as a champion fighter, until the barbaric sport was made illegal. He was released into the world, and had a very hard time making the transition, until he realized that someone with his training could make a decent living as a bounty hunter. He followed that occupation for the next five years, before he grew tired of it. He retired from that business and began to travel the world, finding work when he needed to (there was always work for someone with a strong back, or a good sword arm). He made for himself a home high in the mountains, befriending travelers that happened to stumble across his home. He would've stayed there, if he wouldn't have come home one day from hunting to find his little home demolished, his small herd of goats obliterated, his small happy life gone. He packed what few belongings he had, and travelled out of the mountains to find a new life elsewhere.

Annnd, if this is acceptable, I'll figure some way to throw myself into the story somewheres.

Well, I've been around here for quite a while also... way back in the good ol' days of Monarchy... you'll likely remember me as that creepy blue eyed bastard Mantella. I've got a bunch of other alts too... but if you know me... thats who you'll know me as.

Hey, I know of Mantella! It was in one of your stories that I met my now-long-term writing partner, Khavi in. I believe it was..PC...something or another (sorry, as I'm writing this post, I'm quite innebriated and can't really recall what the exact name of the story was (you should see how long it is taking me to type this post, about 2 seconds short of forver)). I should've recognized the Edward and Thomson names before, I think you used them in the PC story too...but I could be mistaken. But I'm fairly sure I recognize the Edward character from other threads...

Wow...it is the bedtime of this very drunk writer.

Sorry if I don't post for a couple days... got family staying, and my online time is a bit limited at the moment. I'll try and get one in tonight after work, though. :)

Hi,

Just so all know, I am around and ready to post, but thought I might wait and see who else is still posting. Kinda fits better if either Loric or Edward & Thomson post before myself, imho

I'm still around too, but my characters are waiting for either Gabriel to post, or for someone to find the little party we're having at the tavern.
