Now then, this is an RP that Harthar and I are starting together, and I won't reveal too much of the story here, cause I don't want to ruin anything for anybody. However, it starts off with two newbie soldiers, Harthar and I, being selected by the king of our country to go on a quest. Other characters can join us of course, for their own reasons, or because we hire them, or whatever. Besides this, there isn't much I can say without giving away the story, but never-the-less, it should be very good, and there is quite a bit of flexibility.
Now, the rules. The rules for Temper's Ball apply, as usual, but Harthar and I have also agreed on a couple of things. For one, we don't want people going berserk with magic, as sometimes happens, so we would ask that if your character uses magic, to make it weak, or make it extremely hard for your character to use it. This is a low-level character RP, so no god-moding, or using powerful characters, both Harthar and I are using new recruit soldiers, so use that as a reference point when making your characters. And lastly, the world we will be using is one that is very much like Earth, and therefore, there are no races except Human, there are of course, different nationalties of Humans, but there are no Elves, Dwarves, or the like.
Here is the character that I will be using:
Name: Westley O'Bryen
Age: 16
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 165 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Dirty Blonde
Clothes: Wool coat, linen shirt, wool cap, heavy fur-lined cloak, thick woolen pants, fur-lined boots, fur-lined gloves, leather belt.
Armor: Chainmail armor with military insigniae, kite shield with coat-of-arms o the kingdom of Alathil.
Weapons: Longsword on back, shortsword at hip, and a pike.
History: Westley's parents came to the kingdom of Alathil before Westley was old enough to walk, and he remembers no place else. Having been in the military in their native country, Westley's father joined Alathil's army, and served in it for many years, until he was killed during a battle with a neighboring kingdom. During his childhood, Westley's best friend was the boy who lived next door, Harthar Ultor, and the two would play in the streets and alleys pretending they were soldiers. At age ten, the two joined the army, and began their training. Both showed great natural talent for the arts of war, and at age 16 they graduated training with flying colours and were assigned to the same squad.
