Charter

The Judgment has begun:

So you understand now? There is no confusion?” He looked around, the silence was almost eerie. “Good, then your judgment has passed. Let the next time be more favorable.” Saeros lit the match and watched it fly towards the kerosene covered roof. Slowly, he walked away from the crowd and left them to begin their lives anew. They were not the only ones; this had been a busy night for the elf. Having visited three small villages already, the elf had grown tired of the feigned faith. He knew it had been different: the supposed fall of Leto and the other two deities, the audacity of these mortals who claimed to be reincarnates! That was laughable.

Riding away with the glow of flames behind him, Saeros shook his head disgusted with what he saw each day. People moved from one settlement to another painting signs from Blue to Red if it would earn them a simple shekel of gold. Times were very different now. “There is no time for such stupid thoughts now,” Saeros muttered to himself. “We have a village to judge.”

Moments later he stood in front of a new group of people, match in hand. They cowered in front of him, pleading. “This does not satisfy me. You think I enjoy this? No, I have nothing to do with this.” Saeros shook his head again and through the match toward the kerosene covered guildhall. He walked away again, as if this were the same scene.

As Saeros mounted his horse, a villager stood and shouted, “Who are you to judge us? Who are you to bring this down on us? You think you are special. I won’t take this!”

Saeros stopped, his head dropped in disappointment. Quickly he turned, heaving his blade through the air embedding it deep into a tree, inches from the man’s head. “Let this be a message to you all, the end of days is near. You have been judged once, this day will come again. How will you be judged then?” Begrudgingly, Saeros left the townsfolk to rebuild the lives in the hope that they would find a stronger faith.

The Stirring has begun:

As Saeros left, the outraged villager continued on, “Who is he? He does not us or the hardships we have undertaken. He knows nothing of us! We must follow him; we must take vengeance for what has happened!” The villagers began to stir, and rally behind this man. Voices roared and violence was on the brink. There was one voice however that did not rage. There was one quiet elf, who managed to garner the attention of the crowd with little effort.

“It was nice of him to give you a second chance. Others haven’t been so lucky. It didn’t happen all at once. It wasn’t as if you were caught off guard. No, you knew this was coming. As much as you all wanted to hide it, you knew this day would come eventually. You don’t get it do you? You brought this on yourselves! You want to confront that man? No, following that man will lead nowhere. He is a rogue, a judge of these lands, whether you like it or not. They are here to judge you.”

Again the villagers rose in clamor and violence. The elf shook his head as they yelled and screamed. “You just don’t get it do you?” He said, quickly drowned out by the mobs. Sighing, he left the group and went to follow the Judge.

Moments later, Saeros looked the elf in the eyes and said, “I am not the only one.”

This is the beginning.

ACTIVITY
This guild is not meant to be a place where you can come and "play your turns." This may sound harsh, but I want there to be NO confusion. We expect to have VERY active players. If this is NOT for you, there are plenty of guilds in Leto who will be willing to take you in. I'm sorry if this comes off mean, but I want to get it out of the way now, inactivty will result in booting. You will be warned if you are thought to be inactive. After the first warning, if you continue your inactivty you will be given 24 hours to find a new place to play.
