Faith: Leto
With all of her wisdom Leto had bestowed upon the world man kind. Man was a wonderful creature with a nack for using tools to solve problems. These tools, usuful as they may be, could also be used as weapons. Along with man's desire to acheive came the desire to conquer. This same desire was the deciding factor for Leto to turn her back upon man for ages to come.
Intelligent as they may be, people were doomed from the beginning of their exsistance. Insatiable urges to kill there brothers could never be met. Lust, the inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body, ran rampent through villages. When one urge could not be met, another sin was commited in defiance of Leto: Gluttony. If all other basic needs had been met, men, women, and children disired to consume more than that which one requires. As kings grew fat in their oversized kingdoms and spread their love to many women, their greed quickly overcame them. Taking from the poor and giving to the rich was all but commonplace in the world today.
Filled with hatetrid, man eventually went against all of his virtues constantly warring, eating, loathing women, treating his neighbor with unending disrespect. In time Leto was filled with rage. In the collimation of all events, Leto with her new hate for man damned every living soul under her. She put under the knife all heads of state and wiped their seed from the earth to forever burn in the fiery pits of hell.
For a millennium the people of earth were without governement. In the year 1001 Leto rested. Man eventually crept back up from hell to instil a government upon its thus far bodyless people. Along with him, these men brought back their love of sin.
Realizing that the lesson had not been learned, in the year 1250, Leto once again grew irate with the continuous sin. Man, however, would not be as fortunate as they had been in the past. With her infinite power Leto cast the most immense, hatefilled, bloodraged spell upon man to last for all etirnity. Everything living died instantly and fell where it stood. Death covered the earth for seven days, then began a new chapter in the story of life.
The dead twitched; at first fingers, then toes, then limbs. They were slowly being reincarnated. Souls were returning to decomposed bodies. Bodies that were half eaten by wolves stood up with faces of terror. People were again back to reign their sins upon the land. Except this time Leto was not there to aid them any longer. To guide them, or to return them to their original state. The sun now burned red to reflected Leto's infinite hate for man, and man walked the earth forever dead to remember his sins.
The time is now and we, the Letites, are here to spread our dessention to others. To rise to the tops of the ranks to wage war against our goddess Leto. Only after we have conquored all in our age shall we be able to defeat Leto and reverse the spell that forever rots our bodies in this hell on earth. To others shall we spread the disease, down with the people of Angilique and Barnabas for they are still alive and we are the undead!
