Faith: Leto
The Beginning
In the beginning I served Angelique, Goddess of justice and law. It was a time of prosperity for my lands, my people, and myself. Many times Angelique had blessed us. It was in our vast and fertile farms. It was in the casting rituals of our mages. It was most notable in our swords, which cleared vast numbers of heathens. Angelique's Alliance was what I lived and breathed for. It was my mission and quest to rid the world of the foulness. To destroy the war hungry legions of Barnabas. To find those that hid in Leto's shadowy chaos. For many ages, this is what we did, all in the name of Angelique.
War and Death
However, not all good things last. There came a time when Angelique called upon us to bring justice to unjust lands. It was not just a simple battle that we were going to. It would be the largest all out war the world had seen in ages. We fought, knowing that Angelique would not fail to guide us through the haze of blood and death. Failure overtook us by surprise though. Without warning, a loud burst spread throughout the ranks of my men. I looked down to see blood on my armor, but unlike past battles, this blood was not my enemies. It was mine. Looking to the sky, I cried out for Angelique. "My Goddess, save me so that I might cleanse the land, for I am never done with my work." But there was no healing, no salvation. Darkness overtook me.
The Risen
I gasp for breath as I open my eyes. The darkness makes me question if I had opened my eyes at all. Am I dead?
"You were dead, but I have given you life again" a quiet but forceful voice says.
"Who is there?" I ask.
"I am your true savior. I am the one true god. I am the giver of life. I am the voice of freedom."
Looking around, I sense a figure approach behind me.
"I am Leto!"
Leto? But why would Leto save me after all the Letites I have slain?
"You are a great leader, this, even I can see. Fortunatly, my sister never understood your true potential. Serve me now, and I will grant you and your men life beyond death. Imagine, never again fearing death. Always rising, never truly dead."
"Why should I serve you? You preach nothing but chaos?"
"I teach freedom. If you doubt me, ask Angelique for help. You saw her true powers in that battlefield when she failed to aid you."
Though the resurrection had made me unclear, what he was saying did make sense. It did seem that Angelique had failed me when I needed her most. It was Leto that came to my aid. Had I been leading the wrong life all along? Sure of it, I set out in my new life determined as I never had been before.
The Unwaking Dream
So it became that I began serving Leto as one of his Risen. It is remarkable to note what you can acomplish when you no longer fear death. Many ages I led my troops into battle to free the heathens from their mortal bindings. But in time, memory of the Gods began to fade from the lands untill they were no more. For a holy warrior without a God, there was nothing to do but sleep. Sleep and wait for their eventual return.
Time.... what was time in a dream. An instant or an eternity seemed the same distance. It was during this time however that one reflects on the past and questions their life. Of all the deeds I had done, which were right and which were wrong. Was Leto really my true God or had he simply tricked me into thinking so? My mind pondered so many questions, with so few answers to most. What of Angelique? Had I betrayed my real faith? Was it myself that did it, or was it Leto's trickery that forced me to do it?
And then, like a shining light, it dawned on me. While my actions against Angelique were wrong, I believed it was all a test. A test of my faith. Could I join the heathens and yet still free myself from their grasp? The answer was yes. If and when I ever woke again, I would serve Angelique with more zeal than ever before.
But for now, I sleep.
Rebirth
Just as quickly as I had fallen asleep, I awoke. Unsure of how much time had passed, my awakening did mean one thing. The Gods had returned. And with their return, I would call on my troops to rise up for Angelique. There was much for us to repay for our crimes. Let us be reborn.

Any interested in the guild first should send a message via PM, e-mail, or ICQ. Former members will be accepted based past activity in the guild.
All applicants that are accepted are on a trial basis. After proving your worth to the guild (based on activity during wars, on the boards, etc) you will then be a full member.
Promotions are given to those that go beyond the minimum requirements of membership.
The guilds ranks are as follows:
Lord of Decay- GM. One of the first risen, he maintains all guild functions and has overall say in guild matters. He is the voice of the guild beyond any other.
Sword of Angelique- AGM of War. This officer does most of the raid planning before and during war time. Can act as a voice of the guild.
Penumbra's Shadow- AGM of Scum. The officer sees to it that scum missions are carried out effectively. Can act as a voice of the guild.
Voice of Reason- A more advanced squad leader. This member can act as a voice of the guild in the absence of the GM or AGMs.
Lord of Justice- Advanced members who have been loyal to the guild or have shown great skill. Often a squad leader.
Risen- A full member that has proven their worth
Initiate- A new recruit. On trial basis member
It is encouraged that you post in Temper's Ball. Members must follow TB rules. Remember that each member reflects the guild.
TB Rules:

3. Do not spam or post redundant messages.
4. Do not post kingdom numbers or kingdom names on the boards. Note: Posting kingdom names and numbers is only allowed on the guilds private forum,
5. Pornography, piracy, or other illegal material is not allowed.
6. Do not post links or advertizements to hate or anti-Evernight sites. This includes racial, ethical, or sexually related sites.
7. Do not post accusations of cheating on the boards.
