At the moment, you are going about your normal evening routine. You
have just quit working the Duke's farms for the day because you ran
out of light to work in. You sit down to relax in your crudely
constructed grass chair, your wife about to serve the meal you
worked so hard for all day. "Thank Barnabas I don't have any children.
I'd never be able to feed them," you think to yourself as you begin
to doze off unexpectedly.

"I slave over that kettle, and you doze off before I can serve you
your food!?" is what you wake up to as soon as your head droops to
your chest. Ah, yes. The wife. You work all day busting your back
and dehydrating in the sun, and you come home to this nagging excuse
of a hag. She's only 22 years of age, but she looks MUCH older.
You've only been married for two years and she looks worse and worse
as time goes on.

Mentally you sob to yourself as a lone tear runs down your cheek.
Silently you cry out to Banrabas, "I NEED to get away; to get away from
this lifestyle! I break myself physically all day just to have
food, and I come home to be broken mentally and spiritually by
that woman! I wish with all that makes me alive that You had a
better plan for me than this!"

After your meal of a boiled potato and some dried beef you nod off
once again. The wife just shakes her head this time as you smile
to yourself, because the only time you smile is while you are
sleeping. Unknown to her, while you are asleep you are in the only
place you could possibly be anywhere near happy: your subconscious;
your dreams.

You later awaken to the sun that is melting your beloved night away.
As usual, you greet the morning with the strong yet suppressed urge
to sob like a small child. But as you gain your senses, you realize
the chubby, temperamental goat of a woman you are all too familiar
with is not laying beside you. As a matter of fact, you aren't
even in your primitive straw filled cow hyde bed. You are in a
meadow surrounded by a forest. The sun that is now peaking over
the trees is dimmer than you are used to for some reason. As you
turn your head to investigate this occurance, you realize there is
someone standing between you and the golden, blinding light that has
so often dehydrated you. This realization is so instant that your
first reaction is to jump and run, but the second you flinch, a
deep booming voice barks out the word "STOP!"

You have no choice but to do as the voice says. You pause for a
moment in a rag doll position on the ground and try to process
the information you've taken in in the past minute or two.
Confused and overwhelmed by the situation, you feel something brush
over you like a breeze, but also not. It is almost a magnetic
force, but not. Whatever it is, it causes you to pass out once

You awaken in an oak chair at a very eloquent conference table.
To your surprise, you are not restrained in any way, not even by
magick. Across from you at this table is a very large gray elf.
In that same frightening bass voice he begins to speak.

"Good! You are awake." He grins a wide, tooth filled grin.
"You were out for about five minutes longer than I expected!
Had me worried for a moment. I suppose you want to know where you
are, why you are here, and who we are." The large elf glances
briefly to the extreme left of you at an image hidden in the shadows.
The image moves slightly.

"Well, I..." you begin to say as you are cut off by the thundering
voice of the elf. A shiver runs down your spine.

"There will be plenty of time to share your questions and thoughts
after I've told you what I need to tell you." Satisfied with this,
you decide to calm down a bit and hear the man out.

"My name is Bandit_115. I am a direct descendant of Serstan, who
was a member of the Barnabas portion of The Council many years ago.
Barnabas has blessed me, given me his traits and qualities, and has
made me wiser than the average man. Barnabas has given me the ambition
for justice, pride in my faith and who I am, the wisdom of the
wisest elder, and high enough charisma to have anyone I want by
my side, though I force no one.

I was an adopted child. My adoptive parents took me in at roughly
the age of three when they found me hunting in the wood as if I was
an adult. My only memory previous to that was Letian raiders
slaughtering my family in their sleep right before my eyes. I
will never forget that." He stares off into nothingness for a
moment, then continues, "For the rest of the conversation I will
refer to my adoptive parents as my mother and father. My parents
gave me this name because they said I'd go hunting with my father
and I would make out like a bandit. I killed so much game my father
had to sell off the excess. The 115 in my name is the amount of
animals I brought home that first spring.

When I was 10 years of age, an Angelique army swept through our area,
claiming the land that I'd called home for the majority of my
life. Once again, I saw my parents slaughtered, and once again
through the protection of Leto, I was spared.

I could not understand why all this had happened to me. I wandered
the land for a while until I got a job in a market in a small
kingdom. There I sold Furs, hyde, and meat. I did this for about
18 years, until my little shop was burned in the night by enemy
thieves. So once again, I began wandering, looking for another
place to settle until one day about a month later, A prophet of Barnabas spoke to
me personally. He came to me as a beggar, a social outcast.
I tried to avoid him at first, but something compelled me to stop
and listen to his psychotic ramblings. It was then he revealed
himself to me. He told me that I was to be one of his greatest
warriors in the fight against the heathen armies. It was also
then that I learned of my ancestry and the great people I have in
my bloodline, and that I was to accomplish great things as well. I
was given a kingdom and anything I needed to wage war."

As you think about all this for a moment, he continues. "Now,
that is who I am. My second in command is Electribe." The figure
in the shadows rises from his sitting position and steps into the
light. Another elf. A young one at that, very early adulthood,
but it's hard to tell age with elves. He is tall for an elf, and
thick too, with long jet black hair and wild, calm looking eyes.

As Electribe stands beside the table with his arms crossed, Bandit
continues, "I met Electribe not too long after my first personal
encounter with Leto. He was, from what he says, and Barnabas has
confirmed, the last of the last tribe of the Dark-wood Elves from
the far west. His tribe was obliterated by a party of goblins
looking for wealth and fun. This caused him to lose faith in his
tribe's gods, and he migrated east as a wanderer until I found him
and taught him the ways of Barnabas. Barnabas told us we should team up
and randomly fight the other faiths by sneaking into kingdoms and
killing peasants and burning buildings. We've done this for the past
three years now, until Barnabas told me last week that it's time to
form a massive military power to win the ongoing war and put an end
to all this nonsense. It's time to form Total Destruction!

As far as Electribe's name goes, yes it is a strange name. It
is tradition that the last man of a Dark-wood Elf tribe to change
his name to the name of the tribe he represents, never to speak his
previous name again. This is to keep the tribe's name alive as long
as possible so that maybe it can be rekindled elsewhere at a later
time. No one knows his birth name other than him. Obviously he
came from a tribe called Elec. He doesn't speak unless he has
something to say, so don't try small talk. It'll get you nowhere.
Only speak to him if you have something worthwhile to say."

The young elf nods with approval, but keeps silent. He makes you
feel a bit uncomfortable, but at the same time you feel you can
trust him. Bandit continues:
" So, that answers who we are, and sort of answers why you are
here. As far as where here is," he pauses briefly, "well,
I can't tell you that just yet, and may not be able to tell you at all.
We'll have to see how things go, right?" Booming laughter fills
the room. Electribe cracks a slight smile. You just look confused.

"You are here," Bandit continues, "because Barnabas has sent for you,
and from what he tells me, this could be the best thing that's ever
happened to you. I ask you to join us in our battle against the
heathen Angeligues and Letos. Barnabas will give you the strength,
leadership, and courage of a warrior. You will have your own
kingdom. You will HAVE peasants, not BE a peasant. You may do
with as you please as long as you follow our rules, which I will
explain later to help you to make your decision to join
Total Destruction. YOU could be a part of the revolution to make
this world UNDER ONE GOD! YOU could help end this petty war and the
unjust slaughtering of innocent people!"

Bandit pauses and calms down a bit. Getting back to a calmer
tone of voice, he continues, "The floor is now open for questions,
thoughts, and comments. Make your decision wisely."

The large elf stands and steps next to Electribe. He stands
almost a full head above Electribe, and his eyes are cold,
serious, and just. You sit there in silence, not sure what to
make of all this, not sure weather or not to believe all, part,
or none of it. Total Destruction? Sounds rather dangerous,
yet adventurous. It has a nice ring to it.

"You need not decide now. Go back to your everyday peasant life
and think about it. You know how to contact me. Do so when ready."
