Stromium stood, his bottom lip poked out. He almost looked like he was going to cry, though he himself didn't know if it was from him having to keep his puppy outside, or from the smell of Phadraig's feet. And, his puppy was beginning to smell a bit as well. He guessed he'd have to give it a bath soon.

Yes ma'am, Miss boobies... I mean Elfie. I'll tie my puppy up outside, at that tree over there. He pointed towards a tree in sight of the door, but far enough away that he didn't think the awkward odor he now smelled coming off of his puppy would bother anyone.

Just then, he heard a kobold nearby mention ale.

Ale was Stromium's achilles heel. Though a true A.S.S., the other A.S.Ses often complained about how much of a stupid A.S.S. he became when he got ahold of some ale. He claimed to be able to hold his ale well, but in reality, just the smell of ale normally got him going, even more than boobies.

He turned to run out to tie his puppy up so he could get back to the ale quickly, when he realized he knew one of the people at the bar. He stopped short, and threw his puppy out the door, forgetting all about it that instant. He ran up to the bar, jumping up and down in a fit of hysteria.

Dantes, you horse's A.S.S. You left me back there. I found my puppy, and you ran off. Explain yourself, you rotten, smelly A.S.S.

And he waited, still jumping up and down in his fit.

Mr Ed watched Elfie sashay away, everything moving as it should He stood there for a moment quite mesmerized until he was jolted out of his daydreams by Phadraig slamming his boots on the bar. They were encrusted with mud and who knew what, and there was a distinctly offensive odor drifting from them. Thankfully Elfie came and took them away as the old warrior was feeling slightly nauseous.

Looking about the Inn for a place to hang his gift, he noticed many of his allies and friends wander in. All were in good spirits and quite boisterous.

Then Mr Ed observed a disturbing sight, as one of those A.S.Ses wandered in. Unfortunately he had run ins with this particular clown in the past, and feared the scoundrel would recognize him. Mr Ed slouched a little lower so Daniels broad bulk would hide him from view, and muttered to himself.

Gratefully Ed saw the brigand ignore him and approach Sart and Asoc at the other end of the bar.

With a sigh of relief Mr Ed again started looking around to find the perfect spot to showcase his painting.

Dantes was quite please with his new pals, Sartorious and Asoc, for even if they perhaps were not true A.S.Ses, they were close enough. They were quite a relief from those stiff necked INCANS he had been with.
Plus they loved ALE! Dantes truly believed that ALE was the nectar of the Gods!

If there was anything that made Dantes even more of an A.S.S. then he already was, it had to be ALE. Slurping down greedily first the one that Sartorious gave him, he then started on the drink the barmaid brought him.

Suddenly he heard a commotion from the front door, and turned to see his fellow A.A.S Stromium blunder in, carrying a small animal in his arms.

Stromium was muttering something about his new puppy, shaking his head sadly, Dantes had to admit defeat, for indeed Stromium was a greater A.S.S then even he.
Imagine Dantes thought, that A.S.S. Stromium thinking his new pet was a puppy, when it was quite obvious with its long white stripe the creature was actually a kitty.

Shaman Stones had her rumors through the lands of the Angels that the Angel Inn was once again open for business. Stones could hardly hold his excitement that there would be fine conversation, food, and drink.

Shaman Stones had traveled long and hard and was finally standing in front of the Angel Inn. Stones has noticed a small sad puppy tied to a tree.
Stones noticed the welcome sign and another sign saying something about wearing manure. Stones checked him self to make sure he was clean. It was then he noticed that he had stepped in some puppy manure and wondered if this would get him thrown out. Stones cleaned the bottom of his boots just to make sure.

Shaman Stones opened the door and noticed old and new friends everywhere. It was then he noticed Elfie holding her nose with her fingers as she was holding a pair of boots. Stones then announced himself to everybody: "Hi everybody!! I am Shaman Stones and I bring something for everyone for whatever ails you!!!! Or shall I say ALE you?". Stones let out a big boisterous laugh.

What an A.S.S. Dantes thought as Stromium threw his kittypuppy out the door like a night pot full of urine off a high balcony. If the damn thing didn’t break a leg when it landed, it would probably run away into the forest. Dantes really care if Stromium lost his pet, but the damn fool should have simply hung it up on one of the coat hooks by the front door.

When Stromium ran up to him in a fit of hysteria, the combination of the fat A.S.Ses antics, the pungent odor he carried with him, and Dantes gulping of the drink the endowed barmaid brought him made him suddenly quite nauseous.
Turning away slightly from his old friend, Dantes spewed forth a massive stream of vomit. Remnants of it splattered across Stromiums cheek and shoulder, but most of it left a sour smelling pool in the middle of the floor. Signaling to the barmaid for another drink, Dantes turned back to Stromium dazed.

“Whaaa?”

Turning just in time to see Dantes, make a mess in the bar, Elfie turned back and proceeded to make him another drink. She made this one just a little more special. She also made a very special one for his friend Stromium to. She wondered what the Angels would do with these two when the drinks finally did them in.

Reaching for a bucket and a mop, Elfie strolled over to the table.
Dantes, my friend. You made the mess you clean it up then you can have another free ale on the house. I will also give your friend one too. Just set the bucket by the door when you get thru, then I will deliver your ales.

Turning to Assoc, Elfie had thought about his request about the ever flowing ale fountain.

Assoc. I have decided that we can discuss this ever flowing ale fountain in more depth. It sounds like a good idea, but we have to figure out a way that I don't lose profits because of it. I'm sure we could charge each person that uses it a small fee and I'm sure you would be happy to pay me a small monthly fee for having it here in the bar. Think about it and let me know what you think.

Wiggling her nose from the stench caused by Dantes, Elfie turned and hurried back to the bar. She hoped the guys at the table with Dantes and Stromium had strong stomachs, because she felt they were really gonna need them before the drinks completely took effect.

it was shaman stones that virch had searched for. he knew of course that the shaman most likely was in the tavern offering help to all that asked. Of course all knew that the shaman was just looking for free ale and his cures were often curious or suspect indeed.

shaman stones perhaps i can buy you a ale please come sit with me. leaning over and wispering in shamans ear virch explained the problem he had. long ago his toe had turned blue after tripping over a old tree.

so what do you think shaman, got any special healings for a a old friend.

Since when was a kobold supposed to share his ever flowing fountain of ale?
perhaps things needed to be explained further.

Following Elfie asoc kept talking...

Well, perhaps I could pay some kind of fee, but the fountain would be for me and me alone to drink out of, which shouldn't interfere with the other customers...

::asoc shoots a glance over at Sartorious::

...So I figure profits shouldn't be hurt as long as no one sneaks drinks from me fountain, which should prove most difficult to do.

Listening to Assoc, Elfie figured out that his ever flowing fountain could come in the bar. She would allow him to deal with anyone that tried to steal ale from the fountain. She grinned to herself, thinking of what he would do to anyone that would even try to steal his ale.

Ok Assoc., the fountain can come in, and your responsible for handling anyone trying to steal any ale from you. I will charge you a small fee each month, be it cash or a little heathen land we come across.

Walking back to the bar, Elfie thought of what the INCA's might do to the two ASS members when the drinks finally took effect. She quickly stepped in the back room, where noone would hear her laugh. She couldn't believe the talk about the INCAS that ASS was doing. Getting her composure she returned to the bar, to take orders and make sure everyone had everything that they might need.

Rememebering something, Elfie walked up and whispered into Sart's ear. She knew that INCA may be at war soon and she didn't want the ASSes left in her bar, while she might be gone. But she could hardly refrain her wonderment on what the boys had in store for these two.

Elfie looked under the counter at her special brew to see how much she had left. She knew she had enough to do these two in and a few more if they chose to come in. She always kept enough for the heathens that came in and wanted to start trouble. This way the bar didn't get tore up and they casually got taken out when they were in their finest way.

Looking at the corner table, she realized that would be a great place for Assoc's fountain. It would fit in the corner and be a nice decoration and he could sit in front of it and use it and guard it, at the same time. She would have to tell him later, of her idea. Now she needed to check everyone and make sure noone needed anything.

The reverend had been wondering for a while when he smelt a familier smell. It was a smell he knew very well, the smell of alcohol. He started searching for the source when he came across the Angel Inn. He had never visited this establishment before but figured it couldn't hurt.

He walked in and looked around. It was quite nice compaired to some of the slums he had come across before. He walked up to the bar.

Hey barkeep how ya doing? Could I by anychance get an ale?

He took his drink and sat at a table. He knew no one in here so he was a bit uneasy

Elfie had watched the stranger walk into the bar and ask for an ale. She wondered who he was. She watched as he took his seat at one of the tables. He had spoken to her and asked how she was, and he seemed polite enough. She decided she would get with Solik or Assoc, and have one of them to find out who he was.

Going to the kitchen to check on things in there, Elfie decided that a nice after war feast was in order. She told her cooks to start preparing the most elaborate feast they could think of. This party shall start tonight and run thru tomorrow. She knew she had fresh meat and fruit and vegatables for them to use. She had plenty of ale and other spirits to keep everyone happy.

Walking back out into the main room, Elfie stood up on a chair.

Alright my favorite patrons, starting this evening and running thru tomorrow we shall have an elaborate after war feast. There will be lots of food and drink. Go and tell all of your allies and friends you have. Let's make this one big party.

Stepping down, Elfie started to make sure everything was in order. She turned to one of her helpers and told them to go back into the storage room and bring out more tables and chairs and also bring out the two long tables from the back and set them along the wall at the back. That would be where they would lay out the food for the feast. She then turned and went back to make sure she had everything she needed behind the bar.

As Tiamat finally started to slow down Black Thunder, the roaring laughter could be heard. For sure there was something going on at the Inn that he was nearing. Black Thunder having his reins held tighter slowed to almost a halt. Tiamat looked around and could see the figures of people in the windows.

He was still working things through in his head so now did not seem like the best time to go in and have an ale with the rest of the people inside. No now would be a good time to get Black Thunder some water and something that it could eat. While as he, Tiamat could just rest in front of a nice warm fire and look up at the sky.

Just off a little bit from where the Inn was, there was a small gassy hill with a little creek running through it. He had noticed it only because he had heard the splashes on Black thunders hooves. Otherwise, he would have never known it was there till morning when the sun came up. So Tiamat steered Black Thunder the way that they came and just up the grassy hill. There he disembarked and let the reins loose so the Black Thunder could drink and feed on the grass.

Post He tried...he really did!
But he was unable to keep his laughter in. Elfie's line kept playing itself over and over in his head:

Stromium, please get that puppy out of my bar. For health reasons we don't let puppies in the bar.

You let Virch -AND- Stromium in here, but NOT that cute puppy???

Man...

Ahh... taverns. The most unique of establishments found within civilizations. Well, except maybe for brothels. For in these taverns, men and women, once mighty and proud, who stood high over their subjects and managed the complicated details of the infrastructure of entire realms, consumed alcoholic beverages and reduced themselves to half-witted adolescents. Here, the mighty stepped down and became as the commoner. Here, stories that would make a whore blush are greeted with raucous laughter and cheers. Here, nonsensical songs with repetitive verses were shouted rather than sung by people with ale on their tongues and beef in their bellies. Truly, the places were more like madhouses than eateries.

These thoughts circled through the bard's head as he stood outside of Elfie's bar. Slowly, a wide grin appeared on his face.

Damn, I can't wait!

Daniel comming off from a long hard day of work takes a trip to the INN where he knows he can get peace and quiet and a few drinks. Stopping in he orders a drink and something to eat. He asked for ribs. BBQ ribs. And a nice ale to flush it down. Sitting off in the conner waitting for his food he doozes off into a deep sleep. A sleep so deep that a dream comes about. The dream is about a young man of the age 16 that was working on his grandfather farm. The young man was named John. John loved his grandfather and his farm so much that he took it over when his grandfather past away. Then Daniels food came and he was awoken by a slap on the head......

Hearing of the upcoming party in celebration of the recent war victories, he leaves from his tower atop his fortress early in the morning. Flying leisureley, and enjoying the peaceful sights of the landscapes below him, he arrives at the Inn a few hours later. He lands and enters the place, smiling and nodding silent greetings to the several Angels already there, whom he has not seen in a while. He gets a glass of a new fancy wine, not so much for the drink but for the taste (as his physical needs are of not much than a bit of water and sunlight daily), and settles on a chair nearby the ongoing conversations.

UD awakens on this morning just after a battle that nearly took his life. He gathers the people of his kingdom and advises them to build the walls of this kingdom stonger then ever before, for we will have stonger battles to come. With that said UD decides to travel to the Inn, which the leaders of INca go. There he may find out what is to come. Leaving his Kingdom to his most faithful warrior "Ixit" UD rides of towards the Inn.

It is a one day ride to the Inn and it gives UD time to think. UD remembers how he met Ixit, it was many years ago, just after the darkness that UD will never forget. UD thought that he may tell this story but not here. UD rides on to the tavern.

UD enters to find many fellow Inca's there, he moves his way to the bar and orders an ale. Looking around to see who is there, smiling and noding as he looks. Turning back to the bar he galps the first ale down and asked for another.

Sphinx looks up at the cieling and thinks to himself about the wars to come and the blood to be spilled. "This is life we lead," he says to himself with a frown. The wanderer, now warrior is to fight again. He lowers his head as he stands up. "It is time," he tells himself. He begins walking towards the door. As he walk he feels a hard slap on his shoulder. He stops and turns around only to see a man, shorter than he his, we a bottle in his hand. "Hey stranger," the man says drunkenly, "feeling lucky today?"
"Don't touch me again," Sphinx mumbles.
"What are you going to do... about it?" the drunk asks.

Sphinx grins as he slowly raises his hands. Using only his index and middle finger, hit the drunk in the middle of his forehead with the swiftness of a grizzly bear swiping a trout. The drunk falls back and slams his head on the hardwood floor.

Sphinx grins and walks out of the inn while the drunk lays on the floor motionless.

Tiamat looked around for a while and fond himself a small area that he could build a small fire. So after collecting a few branches, he started up a fire. Nothing too big, but enough to keep him warm as the nights were still a little chilly. He could still hear the fellow patrons in the Inn laughing since he was to far off from the Inn.

He wondered to himself if this was a good place to be at this moment, at this time. A lot of things were still running through his mind. It would seem that ridding Black thunder for all this time did not do much to alleviate his thoughts.

I guess that it is true what they. You cannot run from any problems. You are better to stay put and face them.

So Tiamat drifted in and out of a trance as he looked at the burning wood. The light seemed to dance for him as he looked on. The snap and crackling of the fire being the musical chimes that enticed the light to movements. Tiamat enjoyed the peace that he was now starting to

Finding his way through the roads and streets of the area, the small man finally finds his way into the inn. He is notorious for his lack of a sense of direction, and this time only confirms it. Walking through the door, he spots his liege, the Angel Tamlel, and makes a small bow of greeting. Tamlel is already relaxing among the talkers, and dismisses the small man's formalities with a chuckle and a wave of his hand. At this, the bookish Zavebe relaxes too and promptly finds his way to the drinks offered for the party. He certainly can use this time, helping his lord to manage the realm during a delicate war has exhausted him pretty badly...

Bootless, Phadraig wanders over to the hearth to warm his toes. The fire warms his toes as the liquor warms his belly.........ah, the small luxuries of life. With a sigh of content, Phadraig casually surveys the room as a smile crosses his weathered face. It did him good to see his brethren enjoying themselves and rightfully so. The road to victory had always been steep and it was necessary to relax when one could.
Phadraig smiles as he spots Virch lifting a vial out of Stones coat. It appeared that Stones had once again drunk himself to sleep. Suddenly the idea didn't seem all that bad........well the sleep side that is. Prepping his feet up on a bench, Phadraig tilts back his head and closes his eyes.

(OOC: Hope you don't mind a random visitor to your tavern.)

The little elf looked down at her feet and frowned, trying to rmember exactly what it was that she had forgotten this time. Her shoes were present, and on the right feet, her hair was right where she'd left it, namely on her head, she was properly attired and not wearing colours that clashed. All in all she thought she had everything, but there was that little voice in the back of her head that kept whispering that she's left somehting behind. It was the same little voice that often nagged at her to not pick up that vase because it didn't belong to her, or to leave that nice shiny bracelet where it was because the owner really hadn't left it behind.

In other words it was the little voice that nine times out of ten Aurelia ignored.

But for the first time in many an age she was actually listening to it, pausing in her travels to try and figure out exactly what she was missing. Well this is all very strange, I know I've lost something, I just don't know what. The tiny thief sat down by the side of the road and frowned at this puzzle that her mind had presented her with. Whatever it was I know I had it yesterday, because yesterday I didn't have the feeling that I'd lost something. And it was definitely there when I woke up this morning because I had it at breakfast. But whatever it was that I lost I didn't have by lunchtime because that's when I first thought that I was missing something. They always say that the things that you've lost are always in the last place that you'd look. I'd go and look in the last place but I honestly don't know what I'm looking for. Helania, what am I...Oh.

As Aurelia turned to ask her long-suffering travel companion exactly what it was that she had lost it struck her. She'd lost Helania. Or rather to the little one's mind, Helania had lost herself. After all Aurelia would never lose something, it had to be someone else's fault. The tiny elf never believed that she could get lost, to her mind she had an impeccable sense of direction. If ever she was split off from those she travelled with it had to be their fault that they were lost, not hers. I always know where I am, the little one was often heard to say in such situations, It's everyone else that doesn't know where I am and I can't be blamed for that.

She scratched her head and peered at her surroundings, wondering if Helania would suddenly pop up from nowhere but it didn't happen. Can never find her when I want her, just typical really. She's probably off shooting at something with that bow of hers, or sneaking through the forest looking for...well I really don't know what she'd be looking for. I don't think she ever finds it either, Aurelia chattered away to herself as she got up from the roadside. In the distance she could just make out a tavern, Maybe someone there has seen Helania.

Off she trotted, her short legs making the journey far quicker than most would have expected. And for once her legs and sword didn't decide to have a disagreement and trip over one another. Carefully the little elf pushed open the door and looked about, her eyes wide as she tried to take in the scene about her. There were all manner of people, none of whom she recognised and all of them looked a great deal taller than her. She wandered inside, walking under the tables and generally getting underfoot till she reached the bar.

Clambering up onto a normal sized bar stool was a task and a half for one so small as Aurelia only reached up to a human's thigh at best. But eventually she managed to make her way up there, feeling a little dizzy from being so unusally high off the ground. Holding onto the bar for safety she inquired as loudly as she could, Excuse me, but has anyone seen an elf? She kind of tall, well as tall as you would expect an elf to be, as long as you weren't expecting an elf to be as small as I am. And she's got blond hair, like mine, but with these little feathery things in there. Oh and she's got a bow, a really nice one, but she never lets me have a go with it, she's says I'll only end up killing someone by accident. And she answers to the name of Helania, Aurelia said, nodding to herself at the description.

Wandering indoors, the winged INCAn couldn't help but smile as he took in the scene around him. As usual, everyone was being themselves... cutting up and making jokes at each other's expense, anything to get a laugh. Considering the brutal war, this was a remarkable feat that never ceased to impress the bard. He supposed it was how they kept their sanity and cool heads even in the worst of times.

He blinked as he saw a tiny wingless figure climb atop a nearby stool. She obviously was not an Angel, unless she was keeping her wings hidden for some reason. Looking closely, he noticed with some small surprise that she was an elf. Probably the tiniest elf he'd ever seen. Being an elf before an Angel, Solik had seen quite a few in his life, and currently was the lord of an elven nation. But this one... she was like a dwarf-elf or something. Solik didn't think it was possible for the two races to interbreed.

Her voice, though, wasn't so small and could be heard nice and clearly over the chatter in the tavern. Solik blinked again as he listened to her request. She just described about 75% of the female Elven population. I'm not sure how much help that's going to be. Of course, she had also given a name, and that was a start. Though, the way she talked about it, it seemed like she was discussing a lost pet rather than a lost friend. Truly, the world's oddities seemed to migrate to this place.

Solik decided to just keep his mouth shut. He'd only just gotten here, and he'd seen no one on his way here, having flown in rather than ridden or walked. Perhaps one of the others had seen this elf.
