Book 1: The Reckoning of the Fervent

Chapter 1: Sins of the Faith

Prologue: The story of Fervent begins at the time of the Last Sin. The exact details, meetings, and conversations that occurred during this time were not well documented and thus this first chapter is what is generally believed to have happened. Thus while it may not be completely accurate, it is the known and popularly believed history and thus shall be viewed as fact until evidence arises to disprove any or all of these claims.

Grand Historian Illythan of the Evensigh dynasty.

Flecks of violet were the common thread that connected each one of them to the other. They were the originals, each having their lineage traceable all the way back to the council that created Barnabas himself. Always seen as the elite, they were small in numbers as through time other descendents of the council had died, or had been unable to produce offspring. In each of their eyes could the purple flecks be seen, but one could also observe worry and doubt, and this was a first. Before everything had been peaceful, their world never knowing anything but good.

But this had changed in the blink of an eye, the simple sin had set off a chain of events that could not be taken back no matter what was done. Peace had ruled the world while blissfully blinded, everyone had lived happily together, Angelique among Leto, Leto among Barnabas, and so on. The simple sin changed all of this however, now the followers began to faction themselves, only caring for their own and looking at the others with distrust, and even more commonly with disdain.

They tried hard to patch things between all of the different followers, they even apologized for the simple sin, claiming that they had been deceived by followers of that evil Angelique to murder. But this just drove the rift between Leto and Barnabas even farther, and did little to repair the ties with Angelique. And so it began, the trouble would not cease and the conflicts between the followers began to change from verbal confrontations, to physical confrontations which almost always resulted in death.....

It was quiet, no birds chirped happily, no children played here. The end of the world was an eerie place....there was an almost unrealistic silence as they looked at each other. They had swore to always keep peace justice and honor throughout the lands and to promote their God Barnabas above all else. The choice was clear, they could chose to be peaceful and let those who followed Leto and Angelique destroy the reverant of their faith, or they could chose to fight.

Not a word was spoken as they quietly left. Each of the Elders knew that they had only been given one option. They had to destroy all followers of Angelique and Leto, and pray that Barnabas would forgive them for their sins.

Chapter 2: Return of the Forsaken

Prologue: The second chapter of the story of Fervent begins with their return. They came out of hiding reluctantly, blinking in the bright light and noise around them. There are very few remnants from the time between the original sin and their return. The world as they had known it was changed irreparably. The reason for this is the unprecedented destruction of anything pertaining to Fervent by the Leto and Barnabas forces of the time. Each of these faiths, viewing the Fervent history as a testament to the historical dominance of the Barnabas religion, destroyed all Fervent artifacts in an attempt to recreate a history without Fervent. This attempt failed, for in this book you shall read their story, and you shall understand the path the forsaken had to take in order to return to glory.

This path to glory is the darkest time for the warriors, sorcerers and silent fighters of Fervent, this path is one that many could not follow, and the ones who did would perish trying to. This way of life was only for those who truly were the strongest, the proudest, the bravest and the most strong of conviction. For this path was created by fanatics who created Barnabas himself. The violet specks still shone in their eyes and pulsed deeply within their hearts...

These were not only the forsaken, but also the chosen.

This is their story...

History

Fervents history need not be written, as our reputation preceeds us.

Rules

Rules:
Dark Prophet-GM
AGM- Agms of Fervent

ambassador-same as agm, trusted explicitly

officer-often a squad leader/more responsibility

member - trusted members

junior member- newer members

Should Venus, Maverick, and Geothe all leave the guild, the guild is disbanded and will remain so until one of the three returns.

As a member of Fervent you are asked to:

1)pay attention to current guild events
2)conduct yourself the way a member of Fervent is expected to
3)read the banner daily #very important!
4)obey all rules in Temperís Ball
5)show up for all guild wars possible and let someone know if you are not going to be able to attend

Every so often there is a rank evaluation time, when the GM carefully considers each member and what they have accomplished in the guild, and if the player meets all of the requirements(most importantly participation in guild wars) then they are promoted one rank. The higher you get in the ranks, the more difficult it is to get promoted. Fervent takes pride in its ranks. It usually takes several games before a player can rise to the upper level ranks, and making it into the highest ranks is the ultimate honor.

Do not ask to be promoted. That will assure you being put at the bottom of the list of promotable members. You will be promoted and recognized when the guild leaders think it is time.

**NOTE: Posting on Temperís Ball is not absolutely mandatory but is strongly recommended, especially in the Fervent threads in the guild forum, as it is important to keep the story of the guild fresh and develop all of the different personalities of Fervent. While it is a rare occurrence, a few members of Fervent have been removed for not being able to conduct themselves responsibly on Temperís Ball, so please obey to rules of the board (its not hard, there are only 5 of them)

1.Do not make an ass of yourself.
2.Do not post accusations of cheating. (contact the Fervent GM first if you think someone is cheating, she will relay the info to admni if appropriate)
3.Do not post bug reports.(Use the email address for this)
4.Do not post kingdom numbers.
5.Do not post redundant messages (no spamming).
Ways to get on the Gm's bad side(these will most likely get you booted immediately)

1)Making an ass out of yourself on a public forum(TB) (to be decided at the guilds discretion and among the high ranks.)
2)randomly attacking/sorcing/scummer other kingdoms. dont do it, ever
3)cheating/OOC spying, withholding pertinent info with the intention of harm to the guild, harboring known spys in the guild. If you have information the gms should know, then make it known to them! And last, any comparable dishonorable act, to be decided at the discretion of the gms.
