In the darkness of the night, sheltered even from the moon they hid, because they had too. A band of people despised by all who feared. Blades were raised against them even when they had none themselves. They had no gods, no faith in anyone but themselves and so hunted down one by one they could stand no longer. In the shelter of the night, they raided a temple, killing the priestess and took her belongings as trophies. She did not fight, nor asked for mercy, and so the people started to regret what they had done. Sending out a group of four of their finest thieves, they set out to find more priestesses of this god and bring them back alive. Three thieves were successful, but the other one was captured and hung. They buried their comrade and started to preach to the people about a better god then those that hunted them down. Her name was Isonia, she wanted justice for these people, revenge even, but more importantly, she wanted good for these people. Shadows of Twilight will accept all races within it's walls.

History

This will be the guilds first time returning from a long absence.

Rules

Theonis the priest with a sword had gathered the stronger people and taught them how to use weapons and tools to build. He taught them of honor and the ways of battle.

Caitra the priestess with the book, taught the people more about religion and about the world, she educated all of them about these things and how people should treat each other civilized. She took the wise and taught them sorcery, she taught them strategy and diplomacy.

Jyestha the priestess who had nothing, but took what she needed from others. She was not respected by the other priestesses, but yet she had the knowledge of thievery which was most useful, she taught them pain and how not to talk. She taught them how to burn and plunder, to kill in the night. All that Theonis told them not to do, but Theonis needed her, he despised her, but she gave him valuable information.

The people were fond of all the priests and priestesses and if this was the way that Isonia wanted it to be for them, then they had to be good. They came out of the darkness a little and started building; they built houses and castles.

Yet Darden and Foret were not happy. They choose for these people to live in darkness forever. A shadow was cast over them, they lived in the twilight they were doomed to do so by the gods that they hated. They drank the blood of the people that followed them, they had their vengence. The priests had betrayed them. They had given them good only for it to be taken away, they killed their priests and Isonia came, she spoke to them. She said, "People be true to me and carry your banners to battle under my name and I will clear your Shadow, I will remove the twilight. They did not believe her, she had betrayed them, although they did not realize that she had never done them wrong. Time passed and generations followed another until the story of the priests were a mere legend.

The skills they had taken for granted, the wars they had fought, the constant and desperate. Again the Goddess came to them, she sent her armies, and liberated their land. She said: "People, I fight for you, but unless you fight for me, I can't release this curse that you have about you." But the priests had children.

Theonis and Jyestha had a child, this child was hidden out of shame and it could not be. So, she was adopted by the rest of the people and their bloodline continued. It was tracked by the Goddess of Isonia, she choose from the people a woman. Hollisandra was her name, she told the people "here is the last decendant of your beloved priestess, she will lead you to victory" and so it was done, the people were in high spirits and war was to be waged. Joining:
For players wishing to join: The list of rules which if you join the guild you will be expected to follow. This guild accepts a player of any status, whether new or a seasoned veteran. To join send an e-mail, with your ICQ number to the GM of the Shadows of Twilight and please include the following information.
1. How long you've been playing? 2. What guild you were in, and if you were in another faith. 3. Do you RP or post on the boards (if you would like, put any alts that you use). 4. Have you held any positions in the previous guilds and if yes what were they? 5. Do you have any skills that can help the guild?
After sending the e-mail you will be interviewed and after that the decision of your acceptance will be decided. You will be sent a confirmation of your acceptance or a notice of decline.
Be Active: Being active will help keep the guild strong. You may not be able to play everyday and that is understandable. If you fail to play your kingdom for four days you will be sent an e-mail. If you fail to respond you will be booted from the guild. Unless you have reasons why you haven't been able to then tell the GM, Co-GM, or an AGM, so someone will know why. If you are booted, special circumstances are understandable, and your re-acceptance will be considered.
ICQ and or AIM is a must: ICQ and or AIM is important for communication, and also so you can get to know the others within the guild.
Do not attack kingdoms at random: Do not attack any kingdoms that are not guild targets. If someone attacks you, get in touch with your squad leader, GM, or the Co-GM and tell them what has happened. The situaion will be taken care of by the whole guild, not just one kingdom. Attacking random kingdoms not only brings trouble for you, but for the whole guild.
Do not share information with anyone outside of the guild: Everybody has friends who play the game, and they may be of a different faith. If you ever have a problem then message me and we will discuss the problem and what action should be taken. If you have ideas to make the guild better, then please share them and if you have any skills then let us know. There will always be somebody to help out, for any questions that might be asked.

Rules in regard to posting in Tempers Ball:
1. Do not make an ass of yourself. 2. Do not post bug reports on the boards, over ICQ, or in IRC, unless specifically asked to by staff. 3. Do not spam or post redundant messages. 4. Do not post kingdom numbers or kingdom names on the boards. 5. Pornography, piracy, or other illegal material is not allowed. 6. Do not post links or advertisements to hate or anti-Evernight sites. This includes racial, ethical, or sexually related sites.
The guild does not require anyone to RP or post, but try it once. Remember to defend your guild and Isonia on the boards. Do not act immature in TB. Do not use excussive cursing. If you are attacked and insulted, by all means defend yourself, but do it intelligently. Do not get into an immature fighting match on the boards. The posting of any kingdom numbers will result in a review by the guild, and can lead to immediate expulsion. Second chances may be given, but if done more then once it will result in a complete expulsion from the guild. Also the excessive reprimading by Voices or others for lack of maturity (or other TB violations) will bring a warning. A second time and you are out. NO exceptions.
Above all else Have Fun: The most important rule. If you are not enjoying the game, then there is no sense in playing. By having a tight knit group of players that can rival any guild in the game and enjoy the game at the same time. By having a tight group not only is the guild stronger, we can also bring a stronger presence to Foret not only in the game, but on the boards as well.
RANK AND POSITIONS of Shadows of Twilight
The Guild consists of:
GM - Soverign
Is the highest authority in the guild, and is in charge till they step down, or is voted out by the whole guild. Delegates any duties as she sees fit, conducts inter-guild treaties and diplomacy. Interviews and decides solely whom will be accepted or removed from the guild. Decides whom we will wage war or declare peace with, save peace declared by the AGM of War. Creates or removes positions (not people) within the guild, revises guild rules and policies as needed, and ultimately has the final decision in all matters. Squad Leaders are chosen based on prior game experience and is also willing to help the new players that join the guild. Promotions- Everyone in the guild is open to promotions as they come up, and will be based on what they have brought to and done for the guild.
Co-GM
He or she is the second highest, and answers only to the Soverign, and they have power to edit the banner and view members countries. They will also lead the guild when the Soveriegn is absent. In case of the disappearance or death of the GM, the Co-GM or an AGM will take over until her return.
AGM's - High Paladin
The direct aids to the Shadows of Twilight. They report directly to the GM soloely, and are to be consulted in all matters of importance by all members of their section. Any heathen ranking members in matters of diplomacy, or Shadows of Twilight member's actions, may consult with any AGM, but only the AGM of War or the GM or Co-GM may discuss peace in any guild vs. guild matter.
Thief - Experienced Scummers that are trusted members of the Shadows of Twilight.
Elite Guardian - (Officer) They are usually squad leaders and are always trusted members of the Shadows of Twilight.
Crusader Knight - Is a trusted member of the Shadows of Twilight.
Watcher - (junior member) - is a new member to the Shadows of Twilight.
