Hit a minor (ha!) snafu with my car tonight.

My Jeep has a blown head gasket.

Good news sports fans! Jilu is back in the game!

My car broke in the middle of the night and my flashlight wasn't there (or at least not one that worked) so I couldn't quite see what was going on.

Turns out I just threw my serpentine belt, no other complications whatsoever.

$39.47 later and I'm good to go.

$412 for a new radiator in my car. Get it back friday, saturday by noon time its back at the shop. No idea what the damage is this time. If it wasn't for the fact that I can't really afford it, I'd just buy a new damn car.

Things look grim for me. I attended two Ravnica pre-releases this weekend, the first on Long Island and the second in New York City. Had a great time, except that at the 1st pre-release my backpack was apparently stolen from under my nose while I was playing a 2 out of 3 match. Gone are my 2 binders of cards and my three best decks, approximately $2,500 worth of cards. A collection that's run over 10 years. This includes my prized Goblin deck. Gonna check back with the place it was held at to see if it was ever turned in, but the odds are it is gone forever.

There's also a couple of issues I have to sort out regarding whether I can even make the Bash, however I am still quite optimistic about that.

I will come in a Hawaiian shirt if I do. :wink:

I would volunteer to bring the pig to roast but the ex is busy that weekend...

As it is I'm gonna offer to make baked ziti for you guys... for one of the days. If, that is,Mr and Mrs Decae have either
1. room enough in fridge for 30ish pounds of pre made reheatable pasta or
2. facilities that they would loan out to make said 30ish pounds of pasta.
