Hunter, Hunted OOC

K, for all you peoples out there that stop by, this is a semi-open thread. It is a vamp/hunter type deal, and myself and the other main poster have already worked out part of the details. You can join if you want, with approval, as long as you stick with our storyline. Or you can have your own storyline in your own corner of the world, as long as it doesn't conflict with ours. Approval is required before you post.

Here is my character:

Name: Dae Vryce

Sex: Male

Race: Vampire

Description: About 6' tall, pale skin, red hair that reaches his jaw kept in braids or in a ponytail, he has pale blue eyes. He is very well-toned, but not overly muscular. He has several tattoos, starting with his family crest on the inside of his left wrist, about 4 inches above that 2 geckos in a circle on the underside of his forearm. He has 2 red japanese symbols on the side of his upper left arm that stand for "Honor" and "Outcast." On the outter side of his right forearm in Arabic he has his lover's name tattooed, and a bracelet of fire encircles his right wrist. Starting on his right upper arm is a blue dragon head, with its neck extending onto his shoulder and its body tattooed down the right side of his back. On his chest are the words "Death is coming" written in ancient vampiric language. On the top of his right hand is a little sun/moon design, matching the one on his lover's left hand.

Weapons: A katana and 2 desert eagle .50 pistols kept in shoulder holsters. each bullet was dipped in holy water by one of Dae's human hunter partners and loaded into the magazine. he keeps a smaller 9mm pistol in a holster in the small of his back as well.

Armor/clothes: No armor. He generally wears black. His pants are black, baggy jeans, he wears a sleeveless black t-shirt and a long black leather trenchcoat.

History: Dae was born to the influential vampiric Vryce family, a prince of the family. He was taught the Old Ways and also various martial arts and various means of combat. He basically grew up with the woman he fell in love with, and when he was outcasted he continued his relationship with her, albeit with a little more tension involved. He was outcasted for murdering a fellow vampire because the vampires had killed one of Dae's favorite humans. He hooked up with a group of vampire/human hunters after a few years of wandering around by himself and became one of the most feared hunters in recent history, as well as one of the most targetted by the Families.

All people interested in joining should use this format to tell about their characters. Also, if you are just reading this story, please feel free to drop a few lines and comment on how you think the story is going, etc etc. Thanks people.

Gender: Female

Race: Vampire

Around 5"2' tall, very pale, wild flame red hair that falls down her back near to her waist usually left free but sometimes bunned up, and blazing green eyes. Her build is somewhat thin, but she can dispaly incredible strength. Three tatoos adorn her body, one on the top of her left hand of a sun and moon, another of her family crest on her right shoulder blade, to identify her, and finaly, below that, her lover's name in smallish red lettering.

Weapons: Doesn't typically arm herself for every-day travel. When necessary, however, she does carry two .9mm pistols in hip holsters.

Armour/Clothing: No armour. Clothing is usually blue jeans and dark colours, typically black or green. When traveling long distances or on particularly special trips into the city, she wears a black, fur-trimmed trenchcoat.

History: Caitlin is a daughter of the powerful Montreau vampire line, and is just the same royalty within that line. She is well versed in the Old Ways, was taught many things a good and proper vampire lady should know. Of course, she rebels in her own ways, taking readily to both fighting and the arts. Much as she prefers to paint or write something similar to that, she can take almost anyone in a fight, fair or otherwise.
Cait was raised along side Raige Vryce, her lover, and closest friend. Even though he was outcast for murder of one of their own, still she sees him, albeit covertly. Its difficult, as both her family and his are on the lookout for Raige and his band of hunters, she finds that it is well worth the secretive nature.
She lives on her own, in a very nice penthouse apartment in the city, the majority of the rent being paid by her family's funds. That is where she spends much of her time, when not meeting with the rest of her family for varying reasons, or at the nightclub frequented by the city's vamp populace.

After talking with my esteemed co-founder, i decided to post a bit about the NPCs i'll be using most often in the thread. if anyone kills these NPCs without my prior approval, i will personally hunt you down and tear out your liver and EAT IT! uh...ahem. i mean, i won't be very happy.

well anyway, here goes.

Name:Reverend
Race:Vampire
Sex:Male
Description:he's 7' tall, 290, shaved head with a cross tattooed on the back of his head, grey goatee
Weapons: A staff with a retractable blade on the end of it, a desert eagle .50 calibre pistol he carries in a shoulder holster
Armor/clothes: Business clothes mostly. Wears long overcoats over his suits. Dresses expensively.
History: He was a priest before being bitten and Turned. He then became an atheist and founded Dae's hunter group for outcasts of both Hunters and Vampires.

Name: Malkavian
Race: Vampire
Sex: Male
Description: 6'4", black as night, shoulder-length hair dyed silver he keeps in braids, athletic build, clean-shaved face
Weapons: When not on a Hunt, he doesn't carry any weapons, relying on hand to hand to get him through the night. When on a Hunt, he carries 2 MP5s.
Armor/clothes: Dresses much the same as Dae, preferring solid black over anything else. He doesn't wear trenchcoats, however, he prefers his jackets shorter.
History: Malkavian grew up with Dae, although he isn't part of Dae's Family. When Dae was Outcasted, Malkavian decided to follow him instead of living in relative comfort that he would've lived in had he not chosen to Hunt his fellow vampire-kin.

Name: Sky
Race: Human
Sex: Female
Description: Stereotypical cheerleader lookalike. 5'4", Long blonde hair, blue eyes, perfect body. Has a tattoo of a butterfly on her lower left back.
Weapons: Carries a small Glock all the time. She carries an MP5 on Hunts, with 2 9mm Rugers for backup. Avoids hand to hand or melee combat if she can.
Armor/clothes: When on a Hunt she wears a Kevlar vest, combat helmet, black BDUs, boots.
History: She was saved by Dae and Trick when she was being attacked by several vampires at once. Finding herself smitten by Trick, she begged to join their team. After months of training she has become quite handy with guns, but still avoids close combat as much as she can. She and Trick are engaged now.

Name: Bree
Race: Human
Sex: Female
Description: Approximately 5'6", flame red hair and green eyes. Has her nose, lip, ears, and other parts of her anatomy pierced. Has a small red dragon tattooed on her right shoulder, along with a gorgeous Celtic cross with her lover's name bordering it in the middle of her lower back.
Weapons: Generally prefers explosives. Carries with her a .45 Colt all the time, on Hunts she also carries a M-16.
Armor/clothes: On Hunts, as with all the humans, she dressed in full SWAT-type gear. Not on a Hunt, however, she dressed like a bad ass skater chick. Baggy jeans, tight shirts, skateboard shoes. Spends much of her free time with Malkavian or at skate parks.
History: Bree was lucky in the fact that it was Malkavian who was hunting her that night. Just as he was about to strike, he was overcome by her beauty and her inner strength, and not to mention the vicious left hook she landed in his eye. Malkavian spared her with the demand that she join their team. Reluctantly, she did, and the more time she spent with Malkavian, the closer they became. Now they are wrapped quite tightly together and much prefer to work with one another than anyone else.

Name: Jimmy
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Description: 6'1", short brown hair that he gels so that it stands straight up, lip ring, eyebrow ring
Weapons: None, unless you count the various-sized bongs and pipes he has stashed in his office.
Armor/clothes: Baggy jeans, baggy hooded sweatshirts, skateboard shoes
History: Jimmy is quite a stoner. Very rarely is he awake when he isn't stoned. It's how he gets through the day. Jimmy handles financial stuff, funding for their group and whatnot. He's a whiz at creating marketing scams and other illegal ways of getting money. He was Bree's best friend when she joined the team, and when the team needed money, she volunteered his skills. Spends most of his time passed out on the couch he put in the office he was given in the team's warehouse.

I'm not done yet, I'm just out of creative juices.

Description::

Rowen is about 5"11, 165 lbs and has blond hair with dyed black streaks. His eyes are naturally blue but he wears contacts to give them a less typical appearance. His body is toned due to his intense training schedule and overly "active" nightlife. He has one ear piercing, a tatoo of thorns around his right bicep and a pair of black angel wings along his shoulder blades.


Weapons: Rowen relies mostly on hand to hand combat but is quite efficient with the Quarterstaff he keeps strapped to his back.


Armor/clothes: No Armor. He wears a sleeveless black denim button up shirt with red trim that is rarely buttoned. Comfortable form fitting jeans and steel toed boots.


History:


Rowen may be the only surviving child of the D'Alkerk family. His eldest brother was slain when Rowen was still a child and his youngest sister has been presumed dead since her disappearance over 15 years ago. Rowen grew up in a very cultured family. He was brought up in the ways of music and the arts but after the tragic lose of his brother and disappearance of his sister, Rowen?s priorities changes.

He began to study various martial arts techniques and became quite efficient with the use of the Quarterstaff. His love for music has not changed but he shares his talents with few. Rowen lives the perfect bachelor lifestyle and when he is not relaxing in his loft he can be found at many of the cities hot spots or spending time with his female "friends"

For two reasons. Frist, the thread seems fun, would love to go vamp hunting. Second, I think it would be fun to have a overweight, annoying, human male character, who whithin a few posts would die to a heartattack. The hunt would be too much for him.

Ok I am wondering if I could perhaps just have a plain ol human character who gets into the middle of it all and through rp is pulled to either side. I am good to Role Play anything you want Raige. Gimme a challenge damn it!

Harthar, the best challenges are those we set for ourselves, so however you want to go about the RP is fine by me. The regular human being pulled to either side works fine, I just don't see how a human can be pulled to a vampire's cause without becoming a vampire, but I'm interested to see how you pull it off. Like I said, I'm not too worried about you, I know you can RP fairly decent Just put up your char and post IC.

Krueter, sounds good. When you say Hunts, you are referring to hunting vamps? If so, I'm assuming your a solo-type of character and can meet up with the rest of the characters at such time as you see fit.

DemaM, damn soccer! That woulda been entertaining as hell to read a character like you were thinking of, but hey, I guess we all have other things that interfere with RPing on TB. Keep reading, I hope you like the way the story goes.

By the way, I have no real clue as to what exactly the purpose of this story is supposed to be. This little thing I did in IC was just a way to give people more time to join or whatever, it's not like my entire story pushed to the one job. So if anyone has any suggestions or whatnot, feel free to share them, I know I'm game for some new ideas and I'm sure Khavi would be too.

If you talk to Khavi and she's a little on the short side of the temper spectrum, she has a helluva good reason to be. Her computar had a minor disagreement with her and ate her entire 7 page report she did, so be patient and sympathetic and if she sounds really angry, run!

But I wouldn't worry too much, I piss her off all the time and I'm still breathing! Maybe that's because I'm seperated from her by a big puddle and quite a few states as well....but anyway!

Name: Acosh Griwyth

Race: Human (normal, no vampiric blood, no werewolf blood, plain ol human guy :))

Standing at the height of 6'3" he towers above his kin. Strangely taller then most of his family and yet not knowing he actually the bastard son of his father, Broith, and a whore at the local brothel. He looks more like his father then the true blood Griwyth family children, which always made them mad especially Broith's wife, Astivia. He was broad of shoulder and yet not bulging of muscle like his half-brothers. He was quick and witty whilst they were all stupid and strong, he never told them that to their faces however. He had long light blond hair which looked more silver then blond in most lighting. This was most definately a trait of his father who had always been light of hair. His eyes were the only thing that his real mother had passed on to her son, his eyes were light blue, rathar then the dark grey of his father. His skin was darkly tanned as was his fathers, mostly because the two went out into the country side frequently to hunt. He wore a variety of clothing for a variety of different occasions. If it was a formal occasion he would be clad in his best suit, which was basically a monkey suit with their family crest upon the back, which was a direwolf upon a field of white. Signifing their families resistance to the cold and their medievil family heretage was rumoured to have started with a pair of werewolves. But that was only a rumour... For casual dress he would wear a pair of light blue jeans with a loose white shirt or a loose black shirt with a wolf on each shoulder in the color opposite to that of the color of the shirt.

When one saw Acosh without a shirt they would must certainly notice upon the mans back a tattoo that covered his right shoulder which was a depiction of a Direwolf's head in a close up shot. Upon the left shoulder was a scene of the same direwolf standing over a normal wolf with its jaws around its throat. The latter ment that their family had always risen above other families in combat.

Weapons: He doesn't have any weapons except his tongue and a quick fist.

History: Acosh was born into the Griwyth household by his father, Broith and a whore which is why is the bastard child of his father. He was shunned and hated by most of the male children at the school because of his sharp tongue and his speed. When the bullied tried to beat him up, they could never connect with him. And the female children were mostly charmed by his easy going attitude and his witty tongue.

He went through school as most children did until the age of 17 when he finished year 12 and went into acting, having studied it at school and therefore knew much about how a theatre worked. He persuaded his father into buying him a theatre to manage which after a year was ranked among one of the best theatres in the country. Acosh of course gave a portion of the earnings to his father until he bought his father out and now wreapped the rewards of his hard earned labour.

He went to fencing school and learnt enough to be able to stage real looking fights which they would incorperate into the performances to thrill the crowd and the various noble houses which came to see the plays. He continues to do this to this very day, having made quite a name for himself and making his own fortune which he invested in a few different businesses.

There we go. I'll try and figure a way to get him into the story a bit better.

But I am not against the whole turning him into a Vampire or a Werewolf. Or making it turn out that he is a Highlander or something :P.

Looks interesting. Really enjoy a good ole Vamp story. Would like to join in at some point but there seems to be a glut of characters about to enter the RP in the next few days, so will hang back to see how the storyline develops. When I see a place for a new character, will post some stats for approval.

STILL waiting on Khavi...maybe she died while trying to post last night, who knows. This wouldn't be a very good thing, because if she dies then I'm sorry folks, but I'm shutting down the thread. Simply because she helped me come up with the idea and whatnot. But hopefully she didn't die and is using some lame ass excuse like "I have to write a report" or some shit like that to excuse herself for not posting. Personally, I'd like to poke her with a sharp poking stick, but unfortunately I lost mine in the war of 1812. If anyone has a really really sharp poking stick I could use, let me know. It has to be quite long too, I'm in Montana and she's in the middle of a big lake, so it has to reach a long long way.

Anyway, I'm done with classes today, and its Friday, so it's time to go and have lots of fun. Laters.
