I have sent Murch my original post and I have talked to Neu as well. There will not be a problem getting a hold of a lot fo people when it gets down to it except those that disapeared off of the net.

You know, if I can get my old computer out, I'm sure I have tons of super old stuff to contribute. Let me see if I can't dig it up.

What to do first?

While collecting interviews, I'd finish assigning positions. Key position would be the person with the final say so as to where (for a lack of a better word) 'bits and pieces' are placed in the reading.

I don't know how you plan on organizing this, but one way would be to have documents pertain to specific time periods such as 3 months and keep a brief log of additions/changes. Could setup CVS. Don't know if this would work for you or not, but it's an idea.
