Desk clerk at the hotel said she wanted everyone to call in and cancel their reservations. Asked if I could do that for them and I told her no because some were insistent on attempting to get in there.
She said to impress upon them that there is no way they can come in Friday and to make sure they understand this is no game...to stay AWAY.

Assume the game you refer to is Saints/49ers. It actually hasn't been cancelled as of yet. This is the newest news out on the game.

I think you should all change your reservations and come to Sacramento. I have 1700 square feet of home we can party in, since I am moving out on Sunday anyways. Heehee.
