Well, with the change of the boards, I think a change is in order here too. We were just finishing Forsaken Hearts when the baords switched. I propose we begin anew. Going off in a completely different direction. In a few days, I'll be starting an OOC for a new RP but before I do, I'd like to get with Vaalic and Shadow and go over some ideas. The last couple threads have been kind of the same things, repeated in a different format. I would like to start something completely different, to get us all involved and interested again.

I'll be on MSN messenger Teusday night @ 9pm est. I hope both of you can make it so we can go over some ideas. :-)

I just wrote a post but I won't open a new Forsaken Hearts thread to put it in. At least until we talk about the direction we'll be taking our thread in.

I'm about 85% sure i can make it on Tuesday. I have an evening class, but I should get off before then and as long as none of my friends randomy drop by again I'll be set to go.

Sorry I havn't been around for the last little while, my computer got hacked and I had to cut the internet until I could find his way in and track him...
Anyways, I've got it all up and running again, and I'll be posting soon. Tonight I hope, and then we can try to get off this island and back to the main land.

Well. we've made it back to Freeport and now we have to decide where we'll be going from here. There a few different ideas on where we should go next and we should start thinking about what will be happening.

Its been what, like 3 maybe 4 months at most. nowhere near the normal 9... but oh well, it works eh. I just had to put in that part about the leaking reactor, and it sorta makes sense...

Anyways, Nobody's been around here much and I was just wondering who's still here, and who will be here for the next thread?

Hey guys,
okay, I'll do a very brief recap of our last quest...

Through some dark magic and rituals ShadowRune was able to bring Gazzei (an evil lesser god) to this earth. They destroyed the Capital of Faith Hills sending the surviving refugees (lead by Queen Somber) to Freeport, where they are currently just begining to try and get things together.
My wife Angel was kidnapped by ShadowRune and taken with Gazzei to the far away land of Terra.
A group of 'heroes' from Faith Hills journeyed there to stop them.
When they reached there ShadowRune had found a mysterious, ancient powerful device and used it to heighten his powers. He essentialy became a demi god. After a large battle Gazzei and ShadowRune were dead (along with some of the heroes) and the rest of the villans managed to escape.
Now we're back in Freeport celebrating our victory and begining to relax.

This quest is over, and now would be the perfect time for new characters to come in. So if anyone is interested in joining, just post your character and we'll take a look.

i don't know when we'll be starting the next quest, but hopefuly it'll be soon. There's been too much inactivity in the thread lately... wouldn't want to get rusty or anything. We'll be looking for ideas for the next thread, so if anyone has any throw them out here.

Eye Color: Brown
Race: Human
Current Age: 21
Build: Medium build, well proportioned.
Hair Color: Brown
Skin Color: White

Appearance - Jasime stands tall with a medium build, and a fair posture. She has long straight brown hair, which is usually tied back in a ponytail except on certain occasions when she lets it loose. Her big brown eyes shine, and usually has a small smile on her face when she is wondering around the land. She dresses casual, not too flashy with black hiking boots, leather pants which is held on with a normal buckle leather belt. She wears a black V-neck t-shirt for easy maneuverability, along with steel bracers and small bronze ring placed on her index finger which was passed on from her mother. Although she doesn't dress up very often, she will when the opportunity arises.

Demeanor - Jasmine is easy-going, loyal, hard working and is very independent. Although she is friendly to people when she first meets them, she keeps her guard up and is suspicious of strangers. She prefers to travel in small groups of people or by herself where she feels the most comfortable in. Very intuitive, she listens to her heart when making decisions and usually avoids conformation with other people and would rather talk things out first to solve problems. However, if the situation goes out of control or if someone really aggravates her, she will not hesitate to draw her dagger for protection and would attack. Her close friends and family are extremely important to her, so she has a tendency to be jealous and possessive.

Items - Jasmine prefers to travel light, with a small dagger which is placed in her belt and has a hidden small knife tucked in behind her pants, just inside her boots. She carries enough of gold in her pockets, along with jerky. A small backpack is draped on her right shoulder which has a small blanket, rope, bandages, water, and food rations to last her for her trip.

Skills -

Setting traps and hunting. When she is desperate for food, she will set setup traps with her rope and any supplies that are available to her at that time in hopes of capturing an animal and ensuring her survival.

Self defense fighting moves and martial arts. Although she doesn't use it, Jasmine learnt some fighting and wresting moves from her brother with the intentions of knowing self defense if she needed to protect herself

First Aid - Jasmine was taught by her mother how to patch up simple cuts and wounds and carries around some bandages and water to be prepared.

History - Jasmine and her family were adventurers and traveled around different areas, always exploring and seeing what the world had to offer. They never stayed in one place too long, so they never had an actual place to call "home". One night, her mother, father, and brother and Jasmine camped out as usual in a woody forest. The men took off in the middle of the night to try and capture some animals for food, however, they never returned. Jasmine's mom was aging and weak, so Jasmine had to take care of herself and her mother until the day that her mother passed away. Jasmine took what very little belongings her family owned, and took her mother's ring, and headed out by herself in search of a town to purchase some supplies. After a couple days, she landed in Freeport where a celebration was going on.

Well, heres my character:


Name: Khellandros Amakiir (Khell for short)
Occupation: Was a hunter in his Villiage.
Faith: None
Gender: M
Height: 5'9 (rather on the taller side for an elf)
Eye Color: Deep Green
Race: Elven
Current Age: 110
Build: Medium Build. Khell is more toned then built. He is slender, but yet has good muscles, as he is a Wood Elf.
Hair Color: Dark-Brown
Skin Color: Tanned, due to living outdoors.

Appearance - Khell has leather pants and shirt. He has a short sword by his side in a leather scabbard, and a dagger in his right boot. On his back he has aquiver full of serraded arrows and a Elven bow. He has a pouch on his belt with a few coins that he has mannaged to scrounge up and a peice of flint to start fires.

Demeanor - Khell is usually quiet, unless someone is talking about somthing that interests him. He does not like to waste words. He is suspicious of non-Elves, and even then if the elf is not a Wood-Elf then there is still some suspicion and dis-trust. You have to earn his trust. He is slow at making friends, but once he considers a person a friend, he is Loyal to them until death. Khell is over-all good, tho he doesnt fallow all the laws. He will only break the ones he doesnt agree with, and even then it wont be for a bad reason.

Items - Check appearance. That is about it. He has lived int he woods all his life, besides a few travels to a human town to trade goods with his tribe, so when he needs somthing he just finds it in the forrest.

Skills - He was the best archer in his villiage, quite able to out-shoot anyone he has met. His use of his short-sword is decent enough, but against a real swordsman he would not last long. Khell is an excellent hunter, very patient and quite stealthy. He is also quite a good tracker and quite able to survive in the forrest.

History - Khell's life was very much what it should be like for a Wood-elf, up until a few weeks ago. One day when he was out hunting his villaige was attacked by a clan of Lizardmen, when he came home there was nothing left but the charred remains of the villiage. He spent days searching for any survivors but could not find any...there were others out hunting, but he could not find any clue as to what happened to them. So, with anger in his heart Khell set out not knowing where to go, but knowing that one day he would return and seek vengance for his murdered brothers and sisters. And so...after a few weeks, he reached a town he has not heard of before. The town of Freeport.

I opened up my IM today and found out my buddy Sart will no longer be with us. And that means that the next stage of our story is dead unless one of us comes up with somthing.



I'll try to make somthing up. But with my other characters, that might make it a little difficult. ShadowRune was fairly good at causeing some sort of havok. But as I said, I'll try what I can.

As for the new arivals,

Welcome! Sorry for such a slow thread. Everyone these days seem to be awfully busy. Myself included. But it shouldn't be impossible to get your characters moveing in the story. Just contact myself or Vaalic and we will try to help out.

[edit]As I was writeing the post, insperation came up to me and smashed the stick of RP genius across my skull. The Flurin Empire on the continant of chaos. They some how find out that VIndao and Nuanni have gone to the faith continant and they begin to wage war on us. Humans/Elves/And everything else against Dragons and Human like people.[/edit]

Its good to see a few new faces in here. Welcome everyone.

I just got Sartek's email too. Its too bad he won't be with us, at least for a while... But we could always go with his idea, or continue the way we are going. Either way this won't be the last thread, and we'll have time to work with everyone's ideas.

I like the idea of the Flurin empire attacking. They've got the army, and would be very upset about one of their elite's going renegade. Our continuent would also be perfect for their expansion. Not to mention our continent wouldn't be able to put up too much of a fight... Not with the constant wars that have been going on. I doubt any side has too great of an army left... and definatly not one that could stand up to dragon riders.
If we go with that idea what would most likely happen is the entire continent would be taken over swiftly, and the Flurin would quickly establish themselves as the rulers. Without dragons of our own, or even a large army anymore all people of our continent will be forced to band together and fight, or submit to slavery at the hands of the Flurin.

This could keep things interesting. If we were the ones to try and unite the land to stand against the armies. We would have to convince all races, human, elf, dwarf, lizardmen, goblins... all of them, to band together.
A full out attack on them just by us (a small group of heroes) wouldn't even make them blink. We'd need the support of armies, but of course many armies may even decide to join with them for the power.

Just some thoughts...

That sounds interesting. Tho the part about all the races joining together souds more like wishful thinking then reality. But it would be worth a try anyways. I would say on the whole, if the peope of this land have been in one war after another then the thought of a stronger, ruler, who could protect them might appeal to some. I dont know the history of either sides, or if one side is 'pure evil' or not, but there would definitly be a choice that would have to be made on the heroes part. Wether to stand up for our land, and most likely lose, or to accept the new rule, and have a chance at leading a les chaotic life under the control of a more powerful and protecting Ruler. Im not suggesting rolling over and dying, but if it turns out to be for the greater good then why not?

But, i think we shoud come up with an idea soon so we can start Rping!

So who exaclty is in this thread...what characters? Which are good, and which are bad? It would be neat to have two different groups of heroes, that support opposite ideas. Neither one would be evil, because they can each justify their position and say they are fighter for a good cause. And ya never know, int he end there might be some betrayal or the likes, and the two groups could join together and triumph over 'evil.' Hehe, or 'good' depends how want to see it.

Yeah, I know getting all the races to band together is a long shot... but the more we can convince to join with us the better our odds. I doubt many (if any) will, but we can come to that later. It was just an idea...

I thought the same thing as you Khell, It sounds like a good life: having this new empire come in and take control, protecting everyone... sounds sorta like Rome... except that this empire isn't good. Definatly some countries and races would ally with them. Most definatly, but the ones that don't and stand to fight would be taken over with force. They would enslave the continent, and take everything they can from it. This could be reason enough for people to band together and fight, if we decide to go that way...
