Hey Jake,
I'll bring my character sheet back up for everyone. It hasn't changed much since before. I'm definatly looking to go on the bad side.
Trevalin
Name- Trevalin Yvella
Occupation- Thief
Gender- Male
Race- Human
Height- 5 Feet 10 Inches
Weight- 135 Lbs.
Eye Color- Grey/Blue
Hair Color- Dark Brown
Skin Color- deep tan
Age- 29
Build- He is thin and not very muscular, but he is nimble
Appearance
He wears very plain, nondescript clothing. He often wears a common brown hooded cloak to help conceal his face, but underneath he dresses as a commoner. He is smart enough to know that the more he stands out from the common people the easier it is to get caught. The shirt he wears is long sleeved, but not tight. There is room for movement there.
Demeanor
He is usually a happy go lucky person, if you met him. He has a crooked smile, and enjoys meeting new people. He never comes to fully trust anyone, unless he is forced too, and in most cases would not hesitate to put a knife in the back of his best friend for a few silver pieces. He can kill in cold blood without a second thought. He has no conscience, only a calculating mind that weighs the benefits of his actions against the potential loss.
Items
He carries no armor, needing to blend into the crowd. He carries no visible weapons on him, but he has numerous daggers hidden all over his body.
He has a dagger in each of his boots, as well as a dagger on each arm. The daggers on his arms are held in place by a special leather sheath. When he flexes his arm in a certain way the sheath with push out the dagger, giving him a weapon in the blink of an eye.
He also carries his lock picks, with him. Otherwise he carries no items, but his clothing has more pockets than usual, and they are deep pockets, allowing for him to fit more into them.
OCCUPATION SKILLS
Pick Pockets- He has learned to take objects off people without them noticing. Their money pouch for example.
Open Locks- He has been taught very well in this field. With his tools there are very few locks he cannot open.
Find/Remove Traps- In this field he is lacking. He can usually find the traps, but stopping them from going off doesn't always work out so well...
Move Silently- He is swift and silent, thanks to his special training. If he didn't want you to hear him... you wouldn't.
Hide in Shadows- This was something that always came naturally to him. He can easily blend into shadows, provided they’re available.
Climb Walls- He is a decent climber, through all the training he has gone through, but it is still one of his weaker fields.
COMBAT SKILLS
He stays out of direct combat. If he's alone he may choose to run, but if he is with others he will let them take on his enemies while he slips around behind to put a dagger in their backs.
He uses stealth when he fights, and he has no problems with fighting dirty. He has been trained well with Daggers, and he has also been taught to use a short sword, though he doesn't carry one.
History
He was born in Freeport in the poor end of the city. His parents could barely provide for him. When he was just a boy his father brought him to see Lord Caleb who was the unofficial ruler of the city. Caleb was the leader of the Free Thieves guild in Freeport. He gave the boy a small job, running errands, bringing messages between contacts and the like. Trevalin had an early start in the guild, but could not afford the guild dues, so he worked for very little. They took everything from him and gave him just enough to keep going. His father was murdered when he was ten. It was a mysterious death, and he still does not know the truth of what happened. Four weeks later his house caught fire while he was away and his mother was burnt to death inside. This too he would not believe was just "an accident" but there was nothing he could do. Lord Caleb allowed for him to stay with the guild, living where he could find shelter. The loss of both his parents in such a short period of time was devastating. He lost all care for life after that. As he grew older he continued to train in the guild, and eventually was able to make enough to pay the guild dues and keep some left over for himself. He made many contacts within the guild during his time there. He was making a decent living and was a liked and accepted part of the guild. He had many friends, though he trusted none of them and his life was fair. There was always the threat of partners turning on you, but the guild protected their own. It was the way things were.
Trevalin was a man, and a skilled thief when the war broke out. He cared little for battles, or what happed in the world. When Freeport was invaded it was said that the warlord that came knew Caleb, and had a debt to pay. Caleb was murdered, leaving the thieves in the guild to fight for position. With Caleb's death Trevalin decided he would leave this place. He would make his own way, without the guild. Without a word of notice he packed up his possessions and left Freeport. He has been traveling abroad ever since, calling no place home.
