Trans-Formers OCC/sign-up Plot:

Hello as you may have read, this possible RP is based on the cult classic animation serise the Trans-Formers. But I propose is a little different and more serious in nature.

The RP will be based on the original 80's classic rather then the current re vamped serises that our showing. And for those who know the original serise and movie this will also be a bit of a new experience for you also. You see I plan on baseing this RP well in the future but at the same time it is an alternate future not based on the time line that is generation 2 based after the events on the movie. This will be as if none of what happened in the following seasons after the movie happened and will be re-written if needs be. But none of that should matter all that much since this will be based some thousand or so years in the future from that point.

Here is the basic back ground and story plot:

Back Ground: Since the destruction of Unicron and the end of the war in 2005 the Autobots reclaim Cybertron their home world and over the next undred or so years move the planet into a stable orbit within earth's solar system.

But the Decepticons slowly build theor forces and plot the over throw of the autobot rule. In the year 2860 during the celabrations of the anuel earth/cybertron allience and peace the Decepticons mount an ofencive on such a large scale that cybertron is over run and taken within only a few days. It is believed that they did this by consealing their ranks within the autobot society without detection since the fall of Prime and Unicron. Without warning the cybertron defences are used to lay waste the earth's surface and all life is obliterated. The remaining Autobots who survived ecaped to the surface of earth. The years of wars that followed damaged the planets natural cycle and was sent into a extream cold climate with ice caps covering over 80% of the earth's surface.

Plot: It is believed to be aproximately 3046. The on going war rages across two planets one of earth and one of steel. The autobots work hard to defend them self by digging into the earth, making sometimes vast bases and even small cities under the earth. Only but the largest of them is unknown to the decepticons who struggle to take a foot hold on earth. Small fractions attack decepticon strong holds on cybertron and the balance of power between the opposing forces changes from years to year.

The great leaders from the past, Rodimus Prime and Galvertron and the heros of both force such as Devestator (construct-a-cons) and Ultra Magnus have all long since been destroyed in a not so perfect past that is poorly recorded and leaving many a myths about the past years including the real date.

Basic geography: Cybertron: A world made of steel and living machines. It's masive core feed with a energy matter known as energon usualy taking the form of a compressed cube of energy. Energon it self is sourced from natural resoursed and is mined throughout the solar sytem to supply the massive needs of the planet. But Cybertron is no longer a place of fine structure and shiny surfaces. It's surface is in ruins for the most part, war torn and alive with battle.

Earth: A ice covered world barrin and bare of life forms. But beneith the surface and under the sea lies super structures that surport comunities of autobots and at least on known small city. But the Autobot ranks are devided with differeing views and goals. Many do not even carry the mark of Autobot but rather a unique adapted version of it depicting where they come from and who they fight for. It is not unknown to see even autobots fighting amoung themselves when force to work together of in short surpply of energon.

I hope to hear of new ideas and perhaps character details fomr enough people to start a story, with characters form both Autobot and Decepticon ranks and maybe even some in between characters with no real side. I do stress that this is not going to be a faint hearted kids story I hope to bring a darker shade to it all. With death and lose, loyalty and betrayal and even love if the character support it (feman bot characters) It is a dirty and cold war. Only with a new spin on it in the form of Trans-Formers being the basis of the story.

Regardless, this seems like a lot of fun. You want to have Autobots on the Earth and the Decepticons on the migratory Cybertron I assume. Okay, I can come up with something for this, even though I was kinda looking forward to having a Beast Wars Metal creature, it's okay, I have ideas.

NAME: Rammblade

Side: Neutral, leaning Autobot

Transformation: Tank (kinda looks like the Beast Machine tank drones in transformed mode, but is much slicker looking in robot mode)

Weaponry:
Tank: Energy Cannon turret, 360 degree horizontal arc, 85 degree Vertical angle arc
Tank: Gauss machine guns x2, one on each side (180 degree horizontal arc each side, 30 degree vertical angle arc)
Robot: shoulders hold the Gauss machine guns (0 degree horizontal arc, 90 degree vertical angle arc)
Robot: Excaliber
-Rammblade's Sword, which he refers to as Excaliber, looks like a greatsword built for his massive size. It is made out of an immensely strong alloy, and the blade has a groove all along the edge. The groove projects an energy field around the blade when he uses it similar in appearence to the Ultima Weapon sword for Cloud in FF7. It allows him to cut through any material and also has a mode that makes the energy field much broader to act as a shield against blasters and bullets.

Other Equipment:
Tank/Robot: Booster Jets, just like on the tanks from Starfox 64 or on Beast Machines Optimus or on an Armored Core unit from the game of the same name. They allow for greatly increased jumping capacity (up to several times his height) and hovering (for up to 5 mins.) in robot form, and short (20 or so feet in the air, for a bit less than a minute) hovers in tank form.

HIS DEAL: Formerly a Decepticon, Rammblade is one who will fight if it seems like "the only way" to deal with a situation. He quit the dark side, and finding vast infighting in the Autobots, he decided to go forth on his own quest, scouring the planet for parts and information that will allow him to get off Earth and attempt to find a more peaceful place to be. He also is on a personal crusade to find the Matrix of Leadership and possibly the Creation Matrix so that he can scry some way of ending the conflict once and for all, and then build it.

Despite his normal preference for not fighting, Rammblade is built for war in all ways. He will defend those around him with his sword Excaliber, and is more than willing to cut down the "unjust". However, he is loathe to kill entirely, merely disable his targets.

So. There you have it. Picture a recolor of Springer for his two forms. I can make another character if you care for me to.

I cant say I am a total nut and know everthing about Trans-Formers, I want to keep it fairly simple so any one can join up. I like your character and will be interesting. I would like to make point though, You'r bot is a power machine when trans-former into his tank form. But as you know Energon is at times hard to get and powering huge weapons may be hard to do. It is a hard place to live on Earth unless within the depths of the city. I have been thinking on this a lot and trying to come up with some more details about the suroundings.

You made a great point about the Matrix of leadership. I cant believe i forgot to mention it at all. So there is a suject to discuss.

Should the matrix be like a lost artifact? Owned by a Autobot leader? owned by a decepticon leader?

Another idea I was toying with would be that the one of the greater reasons there is in fighting amoung the autobot clans is that over the hundreds of years since Optimus Prime was killed. He had become a almost saint like image. Thus a religious belief grow of years and is spreading through out the clans. "They believe Optimus will return and lead every one to peace" Prime worshipers if you will. Now most believe that prime worshipers are nuts or basicly not right in the head.

I like your stat's, but I dont think it will be needed.

Appearence: Shifter is a medium built bot with a basic alround contruction, letting him be about to do multiable tasks. He's not too big. but not too small so to speak. His body is shaped in an even like way of squares with a smooth chest plate presenting a small insignia of a black autobot symbol. This simple is also found on his sholders.

Weapons: Usualy a tree single hand blaster, it is cheap to use and is power is on aim. Will pass most armor plat within 20 foot.

Trans-Form ability: Hover transport, light crago. With two lazer cannons up front. Often used to carry one or two bots into the war zone quickly.

Gackground: Shifter is a young Autobot of the Scavenger Clan Autobots. The symbol of a black autobot insignia. He is newly part of the defence unit C in the small camps out lining the city and is often on the surface in gathering parts from other dead and ruined bots as salvage to pay for his needs in the city.

Shifter was built as were many in this day and age of reused parts. Infact most of his internal chassis is marked decepticon and Autobot. He is not a believer in the Prime worship, yet is confronted often by them because of his face being very a-like to Primes second, Iron hide. As a result oftens has to put up with the annoyences of these sad believers. He live within the slums of Omega A-5 and trys to trade and bargin as much as posible in order to get by with regular services and energon needs.

His manner is usualy up beat and glad to be alive type nature. But has been known to throw huge tantrums in the heat of battle which can reult in a brutal win or a over confident risk to himself.

Well, if Rodimus etc are dead, then it probably is floating around somewhere. I would think that it should be Lost Artifact status. For that matter, what if anything are we going to do about Vector Sigma, the supercomputer at the center of Cybertron? Is that going to have a big effect?

There's all sorts of things we could do with this. I like the Optimus Worshippers, seems very likely. I would also like to see kind of a "Megatron" cult too, maybe a Unicron cult because those would be funny. I know that Tarantulus of Beast Wars fame was a descendant of Unicron along with a whole bunch of others. But *shrugs* it is your RP.

I can do research and stuff, I love this nerdiness. ^_^

Well lets look at this one thing at a time:

Vector Sigma: I would say that Vector Sigma would have been replaced with a cruder system to operate Cybertron for the decepticons use. Cyberton being a mess in almost all areas make it not much easier on every one there.

Orginal Characters and Objects: I would like to stay away from using orginal characters other then just references to the past as myths or legand in a way. The matrix is for most a lost relic.

Prime Believers: There are Autobots who believe that Optimus Prime will live again and will return to make a perfect world. As in there is no more decepticons and Cybertron is free and all is well. But the Prime believers also believe that those who dont "believe" Prime the saviour will return is not a true Autobot, and if you not a an autobot then what are you? exactly.

I am going to kick off the first introduction to the RP tread soon and my characters intro as well of course.

Plot: For the time being I believe this has to be dark as possible. A new twist is needed. It may draw more into the story and make it more adult for the writters. "This is not a perfect wrold were good always wins over evil"

I will set the scene with a terraist attack on Omega A-5 the autobot city on earth deep underground. This has never happened before and is a serious matter. Shifter is introduced when his friends are killed in a bombing and when he and his team of law keepers/peace keepers/partoler/what ever. Finally catch the one doing the bombings they are al surprise to find it is an Autobot rather then a Decepticon.
The Autobot in question treatens to kill himself and everyone else around with an granade. When he see's there is no escape and does not wish to be questioned he blows his head off and the granade is let go off, causeing more greef and destruction. Shifter is the soul surviver of this team and quites the job when he is angered that no one will look into who this autobot was and why he did it.

Later on down the track I would like to open the story as we go and relveal that it is infact the Prime Believers, who are causing all the havoc. They are bombing Cybertron killing both sides of the fight. Assasinations are carried out on key figures and so on and so on. The war becomes more then just two sides. A third party means to end it all.

What do you thin of that for a twist and a bit of fun.

Death and lose, friends and foes, it is all very harsh compared to the usualy trans formers style. Thats how I want to play it. To make these Characters more real and emotional with a good story to boot.

Sounds like teh awesome. Vaguely reminiscent of FF7 but still unique.

I definately could have fun in this RP; I'd imagine that Rammblade would hear about the attack and come by. Then, we could meet outside the city and ally or something.

*L* spotted fp in here so thought I'd better pop by just to annoy him.

This looks pretty interesting though I've never played a character like this I'd love to try. Though I'll skip the extra stats that Fp added. ((What can I say, his dork powers are stronger than mine ))

Name: Tinker

Side: Autobot (though some would probably prefer him on the other side *L*)

Transformation: Motorcycle designed for scouting purposes, but Tinker prefers to simply use this form to try and break the sound barrier.

Colour: Red with blue stripes down his arms.

Appearance: Smaller than most transformers, his shape more curved to aid his aerodynamics when transformed.

Weaponry: A small blaster built into one arm which also functions in his transformed mode. With a few blasts he can just about penetrate the armour of other transformers but a warrior he is not.

Background: As we've said before, Tinker's purpose was to act as a scout above ground, returning with reconnaissance on enemy positions and seeking out energon stores. Unfortunately Tinker never did have the same sense of purpose as other Autobots, or the sense of duty. He's a thrillseeker and quick to rebel against the orders of older bots. The name Tinker sums him up well, as he has a fascination with playing around with any technology he can get near. Most Autobots have written him off as useless, but Tinker couldn't care less. He'll always do what he wants when he wants to. But he wouldn't leave anyone in trouble. His 'heart' is in the right place.

This is good, the more people we get in here the more we will have to start off with and start our little story.

I am writting the intro as we speak. Meeting Ramblade outside the city. As in the surface? or in the out skirts underground usually refered to as the slums because they are the least developed areas and usually very poor and run down.

I had an idea to go with yours. The one spotted leaving the bombing and in final shots himself could be chased by Shifter since he is a denfence officer, He tracked down the escaping villan itno so a an ally way and confuses you with the bomber. Shifter and Ramblade could have a brief scuffle if you will. Do you want your character to be caught to begine with (shot in the knee and crippled) then when the alert is given to Shifter that the bomber has been cornered he then brings you along cuffed of course for questioning and then the bomber is revealed ot be an autobot and he kills himself and it is clear that Ramblade is not at fault. But it will cause an uneasy kick off between our characters before they become friends. Interested?

As for Tinker, I like his Character. Simple and to the point. How do you whish to enter into the story?

Since you are a scout and thus near the battle front it would be that you are not in the city but rather at the battle lines on the planets surface miles away because decepticons do not have the forces needed to take on the city even if they do know where it is. They focus more on destroying the smaller unknown settlements.
Or you could start off on Cybertron. Then perhaps write your post starting there and slowly make your way to Earth sort of an intro as to who and why you are. The same with Ramblade. Make sure to introduce your character well and why you are here and so on. In the city it is basic a quiet place where bots live out their often hard lived lives. It is a very dence and populated place and is huge structure.

Thus making the bombing such a shock to every one. The thought that it was an autobot would not be accepted and so the plot begins. i will not post my intro until we have few more people playing and some on the other side and perhaps some Prime Believers. But we will get to that later. Lets just go about setting this up right to start with.

I would like to be a bad guy. A decepticon please. Here is my sheet for what i want to do if you like.

Name: Ordo
Type: Male bot
Transformation: Long distance attack craft and carrier.
Build: Tall, strong build but not huge over grown type.
Allience: Decepticon.
Weapons: Heavy Assult rifle. Transformed weapons: Missiles and two frontal connons.

History: Ordo is rising through the ranks on Cybertron and now is able to lead small bands of attack forced at his disposal. He was once between sides but after the dealing with Prime Believers joined the Decepticons to rid the worlds of them once and for all. He has come to like the idea of power and creating future for the Decepticons and revuild his home land of Cybertron. He was built on Cybertron and not from the ruined salvaged parts of the battle field. He has taken great pride in his duty and is very proud and does not stand for mistakes of any kind. Ruthless in his lust for his goals. And is becoming a feared name on the battle fields of Cybertron. He has never been to earth but looks forward to making himself known there also.

I think Cybertron would be a good starting point for Tinker, you've said before that the prime believers would be bombing both sides. What if Tinker, whilst on one of his more risk taking "I'll go where the bosses tell em I shouldn't" trips, spots an autobot laying a bomb trap. The autobot departs and Tinker watches on only to find that it was in fact a trap laid in waiting for an attack force of Autobots.

Tinker pursues the first Autobot, perhaps has an encounter or two with him on the way, and is finally lead back to Earth and finally to the City. His story would add to what Shifter and Rammblade have seen, but they would perhaps be alone in their conspiracy theries as people would likely not believe them. Or at least they wouldn't believe Tinker as he has a history of troublemaking behind him.

Yer damn straight my dork powers are stronger than yours, Dyre ^_^ *chuckles* You're all right though, and that character is similar to another character I was thinking of, though he was decepticon and much more powerful (had uber scanning and stealth as well as proton uzzis ^_^). Awesome.

The Shifter meeting Rammblade idea sounds good. Let's go above ground, since Rammblade is a tank; probably wouldn't enjoy the crowded cities. However, I really do like that idea of being caught, since Rammblade could bother Shifter about that later. I'd picture the interrogation like from I Robot "I did not set that bomb! (pounds fists on table)" Hehe.
