I'm sorry about this, but for the next 2 weeks I will not be able to post at all. I can't even post now, which sucks. I am sooooo sorry. Sorry about the wait, but Khavi had to wait for a time when both she and I were on to do our post. We did what I like to call a "conversation post" where one person types something and the other responds the way their character would. Makes things interesting, but also gets rather long somtimes. hehe

Oh well, we will be moving on now.

man it's been awhile since I've even looked at a forum even resembling braggarts hall's RP forum, so of course i'm a little rusty. However I decided now would be a good time to re-awaken those writing skills. I was just wondering if there might be room for another RPer.

oh and a long time no see to you Harthar, and Khavi as well. I'm back, and looking for an RP to keep me from going over the AtD/VR saga over and over again in my head.

Name: Kain Dragonhand
Race: Human.....
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Height:6'0"
Weight: 172 lbs.
Hair colour: Blonde
Eye colour: Lt. Blue
Class: Swordsman
Weapon of choice: Twin Longswords of the Dragonhand family- Swords forged in ancient times passed down father to son since beyond rememberence. It is a symbol of his heritage, there is runes enscribed upon the flat of the blades, what they mean he has no idea. The swords are still as sharp and keen as the day they were wrought in the forge. There is no known record of these blades needing re-forging, or sharpening.

Strengths: Speed, and Swordsmanship. He doesn't rely so much on strength but agility, quickness and speed. He has spent nearly his entire life training with the longsword, and nothing but it. He trained long and hard for 13 years and has become one of the best. So of course he can work wonders with the weapons

Weaknesses: Not necesarrily strong, does not like to wear armour(inhibits his quickness) and probably his largest weakness is that he really cannot use anything proficiently aside from his swords, and maybe similar blades.

Special ability: Kain is a descendant from a demigod that existed in the distant past, however the blood has become thin and the only remaining power left to him is the ability to heal others, or himself. The drawback is that it fatigues him greatly and after several uses he may lose conciouseness.(note: Kain is as mortal as the next human, but he does look young for his age)

Special Move: None

History: dunno yet, let me read some of the RP, I need an idea of terrain settings, town locations/names before I can come up with something to suit your world.

I am hoping I can join, if not, I'm sure I'll enjoy reading it. Just tryin' to get back into the flow of things

Alright thanx man, I'll post sometime in the near future. As for the backround for my character.....

As a small child he was taken from his home to be trained as a soldier, however it was only a short time when his master found he had unique talent with the sword. He was trained aside from the others and by the age of 13 he surpassed his trainer, who was known to be a great swordsman throuought the land. He started training with two blades at 14 and eventually trained his ability vs. several of the higher ranking officers at once. He surpassed the elite of the kingdom at 15, and his abilities continued to increase.

Now it was his eighteenth birthday. While he was away training he heard reports of the growing numbers of monsters. He started having nightmares about his home, so the young man asked for permission to go there.

He travelled home encountering quite a few of these creatures on the way, after finally reaching his destination he discovers that the village is destroyed. The only survivor was an old blind man. After releasing his anger on the ground and mourning for his family for about a half-hour he noticed the old man and approached him slowly. The old man stood up and stumbled backwards away from the approaching footsteps. Kain called out, "sir what is it that happened here, what destroyed my village?" The blind man recovered and stood resilent, "ah it is you, I was told you would come, but alas you are late." "late for what?" Kain interrupted. "Late for the massacre, you were the only one that might have stood a chance, but late, you are late." "I....I..late," Kain sighed. "Don't blame yourself, it could have happened to anybody. Now you must journey to ________ and seek out your destiny, for you are part of something much greater." With that the old man vanished before Kain's very eyes, leaving him to ponder the meaning behind all of this...............................

Just want everyone to know that yes the thread is still going on I have just been busy with Thanksgiving day stuff and work... I think they are trying to kill me hehe

yesterday I worked from Noon to 11:30pm
off thursday
Friday 6am to 3pm
Sat 4am to 1pm
and Sunday 6am to 3pm


and then in there I have to fit in my nights of going to the club so I'm really busy for the next few days. But dont worry, as soon as I get a free moment I dont think that you guys will be able to keep up with me hehe.

I am pretty busy myself actually. I miss the old days when I had all the time in the world. I would RP for hours on end. The threads just aren't as active as they used to be. oh well.

Alright, my work load seems to be getting a little better now....meaning I now have time to sleep. However, I can give up a little of that time to try and get this thing going again. I have the whole storyline done so its just a matter of writing it down. However I need some feedback before I go through the trouble of doing all this...

Ok here is the deal, Harther is going to be leaving soon for about 2 months or so I think and will not be able to post durring that time. I havent heard from anyone else other then Khavi so I know she is still going to be participating in the thread. As for the rest of you, I need to know who all plans on staying around, it is important that I have this information A.S.A.P b/c I might have to change up the thread a bit depending on who is staying and who isn't.

Anyway, that is about it for the time being. I'm running to the gym now and going to try and post when I get back. Have a good one eh!

Weaknesses: Although he is skilled in fighting, he is not very strong and therefore relies on the use of his bow to strike from a distance then to get directly involved in a battle.

Special Ability: Good at Pick Pocketing and has great agility. His most unique skill is his ability to work various magic through the use of Song. His skills as a bard are renowned because of this. His Songs have been known to do anything from cause confusion and panic in a foe to Heal and Revitalize all those near him.

History:

Not much is known do to the fact that he never talks about his past for one reason or another, however, word has it that it is quite an interesting tale indeed.

I'm trying to get the thread moving a little quicker b/c I have LOTS of information I need to cover, however, in order to do I few things I need the help of Khavi but since she is sick right now, I have to wait for her to feel better before I can do much of my stuff but I'm going to try and keep things moving as quickly as I can.
