Well, I'll get you next time, evil doer! Now, back to my ill-begotten dinner... (chomp, munch) Cambell's Tomato Soup ain't the only red thing that's "Mmm, mmm, good!"

No offense to be taken Mordraken. Valgoth is just a arrogent henchman. If someone wants to beat the unliving crap out of him, I don't mind. Wouldn't be that hard to do really. His is an assasin, not a warrior.

If someone wants to invole him in a post, feel free. All I ask is that you don't make him seem too pathetic (he is a 200 year old vampire after all), and don't kill him yet.

A little note to those who are RPing vampire characters that can walk in the sun. Such as I and Mordraken

The ability comes from recollecting peices of ones soul, this can be acheived in different ways(you must figure those out)

The more of your soul you recover the more human you become. This not only means that you gain the ability to walk in the sun, but your dark gifts, such as strength and speed become weakened. Mordrakens character Magnus is about halfway there, so he can now stand the sun all day, but he is slower and weaker than other vampire characters. Scythe too is a little weaker than he would be if he was completely devoted to the darkness. This is the reason he can only heal with the dark magics. He however is still one of the strongest vamps around.

Magnus was 22 when he was turned, and I see him as being well traveled and knowledgeable, so I'd say he's lived about 50-60 years past being turned. So, that makes him 82. But he still looks 22.

I see your point, and I know what you're thinking, but he's nearly compleatly stripped of Vampiric speed, strength, and regenerative abilities in the daytime hours. These slowly feed back into him as the night go on, and between 10:30PM and 1:30AM is his peak time of his dark powers. So, yes, he is weaker, but it's late at night, he's fairly arrogant, and he doesn't know what he's up against. Of course, he's also very inventive, and although he's up against a much stronger enemy, that don't mean he's gonna give up and go home.

no problem mordraken, but even he cannot handle 14 vampires. So don't give up, just be willing to put up with any consequences that result from it.

Faced with two opponents who could probably beat the unliving snot out of him, Valgoth chooses the prudent course. He runs like hell.

'Sides, don't want Val and Tal tangling just yet. Fighting myself gives me such a headache.

Curses, foiled again!

Oh, um Kain, is there a special reason that Val didn't go toasty when you hit him? Or were you just being nice and not killing him before his second post? :D

Hey guys, go check out my cha sheet, and you'll find a few slight changes. You'll see what I mean by Way of the Book. Don't worry, I'm not an instant mage, and I'm not gonna kick anybody's ass hand-to-hand anymore. This way, we have a more balanced force against the evil ones. I don't step on anybody's domain of ass-kickage, and I give a new dimension to me and the story.

 (Laughs) Nell, my dear, if I told you that, all the mystery would be sucked out of life.

Oh well, I feel like sucking. I have my straw right here.

Spirit magick is, like I said before, the summoning and focusing of spirits and their energy. It can be used for things like healing and attack, but it's most powerful ability is allowing the user to send his own spirit out to accomplish different things, the basest of these being long range communication, but can also be used to take over people's and animals' bodies. Other things Spirit magick can do: speak with spirits, read dreams, channel energy into tangible form, heal (or rather, purge of infections or demons), attack the spirits of others...other things are possible, but these are the most common.

It's kind of a mix of shamanism from Slayers (if you watch anime), and real mystic religions, like Druidism, Wicca, Native American spirit animal stuff, ect. The wolf and the falcon are common spirit animals.

Speaking of which, spirit animals are etheral energy in their natural form, at least, on this plane of existence. They bind with those who wield Spirit magick, and act as familiars and companions. Even a beginner Wielder can "ride within" their spirit animal, even if only for a short time. This ability increases in scope and range as he becomes more powerful and proficient.

Sounds cool Mordraken, I expect to see Magnus working very hard towards this magic. It will be useful too, good idea.

I'm not gonna be the F'ing page boy! Ed the Destructor is the F'ing page boy. I'll be the justice of the peace.

"And now, we witness the marrige of Princess Vespa and Prince Valium, in the bond of Holy... MOLEY!"--Minister, "Spaceballs".

That's when Scythe comes in, Noah, Tal, and I kick his ass, and go on with the rest of the ceremony.

Not a bad idea for a way to trap Scythe! :D What egostistical villan could resist breaking up a wedding?

Oh yeah, he's gonna get it. (rubs hands together gleefully)

I don't think you understand Mordraken, if Scythe truly fought any of the characters, they would not be living ;-) anyhow he wont be disrupting any weddings. He hasn't even so much as pulled a weapon out, and if he does consider yourself dead, well almost, I won't flat out kill any characters, cuz that is just mean. However I will take anyone who dares to the edge.

My black one's all covered in dirt and blood anyway.

Shit, I wouldn't pet Ed with a twelve-foot pole.

Feh, I hate weddings. But I still have a little suprise for you, Nell... (heh, heh, heh) Don't worry, I've given up blood for good. Stop looking at me like that! It's a good one, trust me. Of course, by the time you two actually have the ceremony, I'll have plenty of time to perfect my technique.
