Figs and Mice? nah... I'm not even going to try to guess. *L* Care to share this story?
Just imagine there's something witty here for now. I'll get back to you later.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised by ANYthing you two would cook up. I'm just saying that you guys should keep an open mind should someone want their story to interlock with yours in more than the "chasing a murder" kind of way. You keep getting farther ahead and when the time comes that someone else wants to play along, you'll have to go for 5 days without posting...at least. *giggles* I can only imagine what 5 days without posting would do to Khavi. *has mental images fo 15 new Khavi type threads popping up in Writers Corner*

Figs and mice! It's horribly simple!

It all started at the 4th of July party I went to at my friends house last weekend, and four of us were hanging around on his blacony, talking about the stupid shit that gamers do. Somehow it got onto topics of torture (probably from another Spycraft missions... we're warped, you know), and one of the guys goes 'Hold on, let me go get my figs and mice!' and all of a sudden Matt and Kim start just cracking up. I, being totally lost, can only think of really really horrible things about figs and mice, and then I find out that that is precisely the root of the joke.

If you ever need to extract information from someone, and you can't get it out of them by clever coersion, you just say 'Well, fine, you sit here and think about it and I'll go get my figs and mice.' Before you even get to the door, they'll have thought of sixty horrible things and they'll break down and tell you whatever you need to know. When you're done, and they ask what you were going to do with the figs and mice, you tell them, "Whatever it was your were thinking about." The purpose is to just scare them into thinking of the worst possible torture involving figs and mice. It's all a clever scare tactic.

*Looks innocent* Mykayla, what do you mean? *L*... okay. I see your point, but we'll probably be on this day for a while. I doubt the robbery's going to be easy to say the least. So plenty of time for everybody to catch up.

And Khavi. Gotcha. *L* The same kind of thing would be saying. "Fine. You think about it some more, it'll take ten minutes or so to warm up the machine anyhows."

Evil.

*LOL*

*prods both Khavi and Josh* Enough talk of torture and whatnot...or I'll break out the comfy chair! No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!!!!

*loves Khavi forever and ever for knowing that the soft pillows came next*

Of course...if I say "No! Five tunnels! Charlie, Barley, Farley, Wally...NO one expects the Spanish Tunneling!" does anyone know what I'm quoting?

I recognize that quote too and I don't remember from where... arrrggh...

Yeah, and now... to post! Maybe. If I don't get distracted by the Kripy Kreme's in the kitchen.

*waves the Snickerdoodle around in front of Khavi (but out of reach)* Think girly! I know you know this! *giggles*

The fact that the two uberposters haven't gotten this yet means that someone else might be getting this super delicious, oh so delectible cookie instead...*grins*

(goodness but I love doing this...)

Anyone who is in the slightest bit cool should have heard this quote at least once before...the more times the cooler the person. *grins*

And yes. I am evil. Evil is my middle name. Or it would be...if my mom had given it to me. So we'll simply pretend it's my middle name. *nods*

*Sniffles*

I'm not even slightly cool. :(

It does seem familiar, but I've seen and read too many things to nail it down. (That's my excuse) :P

I know the answer. But Mykayla won't let me post it. She wants to see you squirm. For the record, she got the quote a little bit wrong.

Don't look at me, I haven't a clue what anyone's going on about...

I think I got lost around Figs and Mice, though I will have to use that somewhere along the line.

Hahahahahaha!

Figs and mice!

...Watch out, Myk, I may just have to bust out the Figs and Mice of Doom so you will tell me what that's from! I'm still stuck up on Snatch references like Agent Buzz's Desert Eagle .50... (she was originally a spycraft agent, man).

I know it, I know it, I know it...

Damn damn damn. It sounds like something you could imagine Eric Idle saying. But I bet I'm way off... *sighs*. No Snickerdoodle cookie for me.

All I can think about is this quote:

"I hope that when the world comes to an end I can breathe a sigh of relief, because then there will be so much more to look forward to".
I'm an expert on shakespeare,
And that's a hell of a lot,
But the world don't need scholars,
As much as I thought.
