Yeah, I'm all for the shorter posts, but letting them get too short would interfere with people like me who are still in High School and can't do anything during the day about it. Like, if I get into a conversation with Talione, I'd have to wait until he gets time to respond, and it slows the whole damn thing down. IMing is fine, I am Duo Maxis on ICQ if any of you have that and for you AOHell users here, I'm razorwire3. But, as I said, this will slow things down considerably, probably.

Weapon Proficiencies: Katana, other light blades
Brief History: Adopted into a loving family, he discovered he had psychic powers when he was 10. This really scared the heck out of his foster parens, since he couldn't control his powers yet. Although they still loved him, they knew they couldn't keep him. He was sent to a monastery, in which the elders recognised something familiar in his aura.
It was then that he researched the Arcus family tree, and found out that he was a descendant from a psychic warrior named Manock. His power was truly great, for he was half devil. Although some generations have passed, Dengar still possesses fiendish blood, and he knew he could be a danger to others if he didn't learn to control the power he had inherited.

He stayed in the monastery, and over time, he learned to focus his emotions, his spiritual energy, and the energies of his mind. He also learned the arts of kombat. At age 16, he was shown the remains of what once was Manock's Celestial blade. It was reforged and re-infused with magical energy, and bonded to its new owner. This became the Soul Katana. After that, he left the monastery, traveling the world to find out his destiny, helping people in need of assistance on the way.

Strengths: He can handle his Katana very well, and is also adept at the arts of brainpower.

Weaknesses: With Devlish blood coursing through his vanes, he has some power beyond normal Humans. Although he's technically good-aligned, he might forget about that when he's enraged.


Special: He can move matter by force of his mind, and use his energies to manipulate the elements, mostly Electricity. But his real strength is in his enhanced senses and the ability to predict things. This really helps out in tough figts.

Soul Katana: This is Manock's Celestial Blade, reforged. It's linked to Dengar. In the possession of anyone else, it acts like a normal weapon. With Dengar, it posesses great magical power, which gets stronger with Dengar's emotions. The energy type can be changed by Dengar, but not always willingly. The Katana is also used in combination with various psychic techniques.

Graphic, huh? I was trying to tone it down. You should have seen the first version. I didn't post it because I figured it would have gotten me in trouble.

Proposed vampire power: Skin Shifting.
Commonality: Very rare.
Description: The vampire skins his victim, then dons the skin like a suit. The skin bonds to the vampire, granting him the face and form of the victim. This includes the victims vioce and any accents, but not their memories. Beyond the obvious disguise facter, the Skin-shift allows the vampire to enter sunlight. Direct sunlight still causes weakness and pain in the vampire, but doesn't kill it. The skin suit can last as long as 2-3 weeks depending on the power of the Skin-Shifter, but it begins to smell after the first week.

To answer Dengaars question.

To kill vampires, make use of holy items, and fire. Normal weapons work, just fine, but not as well as the previous two. To kill a vampire one must strike it in the heart, or decapitate it, simply breaking the neck won't work. Must be severed. Stakes work, but only when peircing the heart. A vampire can survive with a peirce to the heart, only as long as it has enough blood, stakes do stun them of they strike there though.

Silver is as effective as Iron
Magic works, mainly fire and holy magic, but other types can slow them down, and with enough effort kill them

History: In his mortal life, Valgoth was a professional assasin. When he was turned, he found his new strength and speed made him even better. He especially loves to kill goverment leaders and important figures, as they are usually the most challenge.

Powers: Vampiric strength and speed. Expert knife fighter, and proficient with most weapons. Valgoth is also a Skin-shifter.

Weaknesses: All the usuall vampire weaknesses, as well as a sense of invisibility. Valgoth believes that he is the only "real" being in existence.
