*Puts on apron and steps behind the counter* Take a number and we'll be with you when it flashes up on the big screen. *grins broadly* Sorry for the inconvenience sir, but as you can see it's a very very busy day today.

But seriously. I didn't think we had turns unless you're rping with another character in the same scene so to speak. Just post as you can. I'm half considering throwing another character into the mix, which is what I would suggest to those of you who are waiting for others, it'll help keep the board flowing for one thing, whilst sating those of us who can't seem to go a day without posting something.

Even if its a long winded answer to something that could just as easily have been answered in four or five words at the most. But hey, if we didnt do this sort of thing just think how low our word to post ratio would be.

But then I myself cant stand those people who can't just be direct and to the point and waffle on needlessly. Those people seem to have some underlying post addiction problem in my honest opinion. Perhaps I'll start a clinic. Counseling for the post dependent.

First patient. Me.

And Bretina..... Yes. *L*

Frankly it's quite amazing how life can kick you in the pants. I was swamped with NaNoWriMo when this month started, and I was doing alright with it, but that frayed and fell apart as the month has progressed. Somewhere along the way I went over a thousand dollars into debt to my parents to get my vehicle working safely, and rats ate a hole through the wall in the room across the hall from mine. Needless to say, I've been a bit preoccupied.

However, Thanksgiving is this week, and I'm taking off starting Wednesday. Hopefully this means I'll get a post done sometime then. If I don't, you'll have to excuse me. *smiles*

That said, I think I'll sign up for some sort of counseling myself. Counseling for the post-deficient. *wry smile*

Nooo! Counseling will take even more time from your already busy life. If you need help, just take a few vicodins and you'll be okay.

Take that you impatient people! *grins*

Myra probably should make an appearance...as soon as I've recovered from the horror that was November and can manage to put enough thought together to cobble some sort of post into existance.

You'll have to wait a few more days for mine.. I'll try and think up a reply on the train. Until then, Elijah is unavailable. You'll have to leave a message with his secretary.

I miss Lusoth, whatever happened to his awesomeness? I mean hell, I could even stand to put up with Febre for at least two posts if it meant a return of my boy!

I think his awesomeness got smothered by the gayness that is Febre.

I'm so jealous, nobody ever talks about how awesome or gay I am.

I'm pretty awesome. And when I drink too much I'm quite gay too.

Yeah well they're both prettier than you, that's why they get a fan club and you just get a club.

Oh and I hope Elijah is aware that almost every man jack in that inn is now convinced that Bretina is a woman of the night. They'll be thinking "Room off from the common room? More like a common whore room!" and then chuckling and leering in that disturbing way that only the peasentry have ever quite managed to get the hang of.

That was my intention Dyvim  Better they think that, than place her as the Lady of the Grey Lark Estates. Elijah would rather not have a lynch mob on his hands when he's only got three guards with him.

Good thing Bretina's too sheltered to think of that. Otherwise she might be offended. lol

And Dyvim, Thenician can't help it that he's playing a bit of a ruffian-esque character and Lusoth and Febre are fops to the nth degree. *grins*

At no point did I describe my character as a ruffian. I guess I didn't actually describe him well at all. I assumed we'd all go with...

You're the one who made him captain of a ship, ergo a sailor. And we ALL know that sailors come in only two flavours:
1) Gruff types.
2) Raving homosexuals.

If I were you, I'd take the ruffian typecast as the lesser of two evils.

In case it hasn't already become painfully obvious, I'm not going to post again until after the new year. *wry smile* Whoever said holidays are good times to catch up on personal stuff never met my family. I'm woefully behind on all of my writing. Hopefully as things smooth out after the turn of the year, I'll be able to get rolling again.

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make The United States great (not to imply that The United States is necessarily greater than any other country), and without regard to the race, color, creed, gender, age, physical disability, religious faith, sexual orientation, or the choice of computer platform of the wishee.

Legal Disclaimer: By accepting this agreement, you are accepting these terms.

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher.

This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

I accept the terms and conditions of your greeting and offer the same in return.

Also, yay, my 340th post. Damn, I thought it would be more than that by now. That's what I get for having so many alts. When do I get promoted?

okie dokie. Firstly happy new year everybody and secondly Myk, I have passed your document to my personal solicitor to review and you shall have your reply in the usual time ((around the 31st december of this year)) and at the usual cost ((somewhere in the region of a thousand pounds an hour plus VAT)).

And thirdly what with 'the' being replaced with 'teh' and that one particular word being censored.

Hopefully its not just me going mad... again.... *L* well they do say you should start the new year as you mean to go on.. so I guess that'll mean I'll be crazy and hungover for much of 2007. *L* cool.

EDIT: *L* Lets try T H E. being replaced by TEH

I really have to start proofreading my material before posting. Oh well, too late now, it's a fad.

Let teh good times roll!

EDIT: Also, I need a few NPCs for a dnd campaign I'm writing. If any of you want to volunteer for the position, I need class and levels from you. So I can figure out your CR when my players smash you with a hammer.

EDIT2: Oh wait a minute, at first I thought you were making fun of me, but now I see what you mean. The entire board's T H E's have been changed to T E H's. I WANT VENGEANCE! Even though that's not the right way to use that word.

Having a bunch of alts is NO excuse for having so few posts. *grins* You haven't seen my alt list, and I'm over 5k posts on this one.

Okay, so now that the holiday madness is pretty much over, I can safely say that I'll be breathing normally again...and breathing normally means I'll be working on a post or two here soon. *grins* I'm shooting for this weekend, but you may need to keep your fingers crossed for that to actually happen. *winks*
