The Brackets were situated on a floating island, much smaller to that of the Arena, and less magnificent. There was large board which showed the names of all the competitors, which would magically change when one of them died, showing the winner of the confrontation, and then the name would move up to who would fight next. A man stood upon a platform under the board, he was old, but looked physically young, he had a slight smile on his face and watched the competitors as they went about their business. He also made sure that none could see the battle ensuing at the Arena, using both magic and physical barriers in order to accomplish this. He was the Manifestation of Battle, a God if you will, the Sponsor for this Event.
Next to the Large board was a Tavern and Inn, made for the contestants to rest, recuperate and wait for their event. Also for them to Mingle and get drunk if that was what they wanted to do.
Across the street from the Tavern and Inn was the Shops. There was a Magic shop, a Herb shop, an Armourer and a Healer. These shops would be able to provide for any of the contests needs that arose. But they also reserved the right to not serve customers and to expel contestants from the events if anything was stolen from them.
A little ways down the street from the Shops and Tavern was a large training ground, no where near the size of the Arena but sufficient enough to have all sorts of terrains upon it. Using the same conditions as that of the Arena. Combatants of different races would materialize for contestants to practice against, but a contestant could not die upon this island, if they were killed, they would just reappear on ground level in front of the Manifestation of Battle, and he would smile knowingly and let you be upon your way.
A sign under the God of Battle says clearly.
“You only need to ask for something and though shall be supplied with a place to get it.â€Â
