(Attempted Novel) Judas

Right.. :) I've decided I should do some serious writing, alongside my sillyness. I know it won't work. But hey, I can atleast try.
I've decided to make a novel, called 'Judas', it is about the biblical figure Judas Iscariot and especially his afterlife. I have got some ideas about how the story will evolve, but that is about all I'm going to say about it :)

Also-ish..I want to include iconography-stuff (archangels and all that) so if anyone has suggestion, comments or helpfull informative links, don't hesitate to either post in here or leave me a private message :)

as for the actual writing..here goes :D

Prologue

The rope tightened around his neck, gnarling at his jugular veins. He knew quite well that this would be my last breath as a free man, yet he did not treasure it. A forced exhale; a last hopeless attempt to quicken the process. His body wen’t numb, yet his feelings did not pass so easily. Memories clouded his mind in these, his last, moment on Earth. Ironic, he thought, how He had me called from the tree and now has me return to it. Argh…Getsehmane, if this is to be my final stage, why does my mind deny me peace?

He scraped at his upperlip, trying to erase the taste of betrayal, the taste of guilt. My betrayal, what will it lead to? Will Jesus be remembered forever for this, as I am doomed to spend my everlasting days in Hell, licking Lucifer’s heels? No! This can not be…for if I granted his movement, God’s movement, eternal life, why should I be punished?

If it wasn’t for the lifeless state of his arms, he would have made an attempt to hurt himself, but then…he knew of no punishment worse enough to ratify his crime. Will I be granted shame or pride? It is something I will never know…death will bring it’s relief soon, my mind will finally go numb and I need not think about this issues. There are no witnesses of a Black Sheep’s death, none but one. God! Will my betrayal be remembered alongside the glory of Christ?

What afterlife would bring him, he did not know, yet he was about to find out as an angel landed near the tree…

“ Does my arrival surprise you, jew? Then there is at least one thing we have in common. "

Yeah, it is a short prologue :P It is a prologue..they are meant to be short! :P I was thinking about a prologue of one (small, pocket-like)page.. :)
