I have died many times in my life. A life that has been long, even if it is concidered short in the eyes of the Elven. But for such a short life I have had many wonderous adventures and stories. I remember them all perfectly even though it may have been centuries ago. The battles have been in, the strugles for power weather they be wrong or right. I have lost many things and gained much in return. I was loved by few and hated my many. I climbed the ladder of success over and over.

My early years were a mixture of revenge and happiness, building on my fathers kingdom as a youthful ruler only for it to be distroyed by a army rise by the old god of chaos. He sent as I found in the after life the first time I vistited it. The god sent a servent of his in the form a demond and moral life. The demond lead his army into my home and brought it to it's knees. I managed to kill the demon in combat, but not before I watch it kill my wife and watch my only son taken away from me. I escaped with the demond's weapon a black sword with a close friend by the name of Kobe. To the mountain into a secret path that lead stright through the moutain it self to a grand vally in the middle of the place called The Forest of The Lost.

We were found and put to death by the demonds followers. I was nailed to a wall and run through with the black sword afetr having my face taken too with a rusted dagger. I died. Or so it seemed...
The demond could not risk dieing a mortal death and as a final resort he put his soul, his power into the sword which later opened the gate way to my body and mind. I awoke from my death feeling a uncontroled rage and power, I took the blade from my body and ripped free of the wall. I killed every warrior in the place and saved Kobe before he suffered the same fate.

Ever since that day I have been hunted by the demond who now lived with me. It was a curse that also helped me win many battles. The demond was now limited to the my own strengths and so he changed me, making my power unnaturaly strong even for my kind. Even stronger then tyhe half breed Jake but thats another story. I rebuilt my kingdom many times and it has fallen the same. Word of my strength spread during my early years when being a mercanary to gain wealth. I had callengers who came and went. All falling to their doom at my hands alone.

When I found that one of my enimies that raided my secret vally home and stolen the society book which held the spells and training techniques of my kind was stolen by my own lost son. I confronted him once I know he was my son. Seth was found and all my hate and rage was gone from me for the brief moment. I was 47 years of age by this time. I had also been seeing a women by the name of Somber Nights who also know my son from long ago. But I died on that very day by a foe search for revenge agents Seth. I was over powered by this evil man and was killed. The man was bounty hunter by the name of Sagar and he died shortly after. It was then that Somber took the society book and used it's powers to bring me back to life in secret and it was there in that Forest hide away that we made a life. But the spell had it's limits. I couldnot leave the forest of the lost or with in days my body would start to die. So it has been for year after. Somber served council to my son who know started to rebuild Terra's Edge the city I so many times before tried to make. Kobe's Son also named Kobe was a close friend of Seth and followed him to the ends of the world unless it had to invole me. Young Kobe seeked revenge on me ofr I had kill his fater, the same man I called a firend years before hand and saved from the waste land armies. Kobe betrayed me and challeneged me and lost to me. His son took his father's name and journied with Seth to seek me out. He did not know I was Seth's father until after my death.

As it seemed Somber and Seth who later found out were the only one's who knew of me being alive.
As I grew close to my 52nd birthday Young Kobe who was now a man had suddenly showed himself in the serect vally taking Somber hostage and I was drawn into a fight. I fought as had as I could, but age was getting the best of me but I managed to scare him off with my powers. At least for a little while until he returned with within the hour and claimed he would destory me as I had destroy him. I took his father and so he would take my son.
He then demonstared his own newly aquired skills with the use of magic. Kobe had never had these skills before not even his father. It scared me to think he would be able to kill Seth and so I start my story with one of my last adventures. A quest to stop Kobe...

Kobe had returned to my home with his message as to what he was going to be to me and Seth. Far above on the ledge that over hung a water fall then led into the massive pond that filled the centure of the small vally. I stood on the muddy banks of the pond, Somber behind me looking through the door way of our stone house.

Kobe summoned his new powers, casting a ball of flame. It came crashing down towards me, I raised me hands boosted the energies within me, The ground gave way beneith me slightly, dirt seemed to rise from all directions in my doing. The ball of flame disburst it self on a unseen force that grew all around me.

I lowered my guard to see Kobe had left, I felt out for another presence only to find Somber's in the area. He had gone, gone before my eyes. It had begain...

[blue] "Somber, we must go and stop him at once, before he reaches Seth... I have a feeling Kobe has far greater power then even he realises." [/blue]

[green] " Surrac, I can travel into Terra's edge, but you can not. Your body will die. You know that. Remember the last time to left..." [/green]

[blue] "But you cant do it alone, Kobe is too powerful as it seems, and we have some time to spare. I believe he will round up some help before invading the Castle. But I am sure I can last at least a few days before I start to weak'in. I do realise the danger, I am sure of that." [/blue]

[green] "If he is gain the help of others, that is just more agents us either way. And since you are so determined to go, we will need extra help as well. Dont you think?" [/green]

[blue] "Yes, that is why I am going to tell you to leave..., I want to to make your way back to Free Port and New Faith, and find your brave friends you tell me so much about. I know that a lot of them may be old now, or even dead. But you must try. I will seek out Kobe and look for a Vampire." [/blue]

[green] "Look for a Vampire??, what are you on about?" [/green]

[blue] "Plato Tucore, he hates Seth but I have known him for some years now. If he know someone was going to Kill Seth he would help stop them. For Seth in his mind belongs to him and him only. When you reach New Faith, you must find Jake as well. We will need him... [/blue]

Tears rolled down Somber's face, and came to her holding her hands to my chest. Looking down on her, her watered eye's looking back up at mine. The time had come. And I must ready my self for the new battle.
It was there I broke free of her and gathered my old black sword, and my things. The old armor seemed heavier then before, the two solid plates on my sholders. By Dark Blue clothes with red trim. The wide leather torso belt, and of course the black cape that sat over my sholders. Both Somber and I made our way through the tunnel behind the water fall out into the city of Terra's Edge. She went to her hourse that waited near by. I closed the secret enternce.

We huged each other, she tried to kiss me, but I stoped her. She was confused. I told her to kiss me when she returns. She smiled and mounted the horse and rode off. I looked off far in the distance over the building loomed the castle of white stone.

That bastard, he is still strong. Even in his old age. But no matter. I am becoming strong by the day. The more I use these powers the stronger I become. But he does not know that. Thinking to my self as I ran through the forest making my way to the top of the moutain and down again. The think thin tree's was head spinning. But I was on track. On light fall I had arrived in the city. I know then and there that Dark One would not let it go with out a fight and that he probably beat me here through their tunnel. I had to find servents of destruction... I needed a plan of attack so as to draw them out rather then breaking into their nest.

I am sorry Seth, but your life will be sent for the better...

A hour or two later I found me self infront of a local Tavern in the east district. "The Red Raven" It was called and I entered to find my children of evil...

He couldn't believe his luck. He had lost every last copper piece he held on a fools game of the dice but at least the weather was decent enough. The wind had picked up fairly quickly since he had left the gambling hall, showing that the good weather would soon turn into a storm. All he wanted to do was find somewhere warm and out of the wind but it looked as thought that wouldn't be easy. He had been traveling for several days already, and getting lost in the forest didn't help matters much, but he was confident he was back on the right road. He had no true destination, so any road that leads to a hot meal and a warm bed would be the right road. He had rationed his food poorly on this trip and was hungry without anything left to fill his stomach. He still had everything he needed to survive. His daggers and his wit, but he needed to get to town before he could apply his trade.

Eventually he seen the town, but his spirits remained low. He entered the city without a problem and made his way through the town. It didn't take him long to reach the East District and find a suitable tavern. He entered the Red Raven and as he entered he heard a few men curse as he let the wind in behind him. Closing the door Trevalin looked for a seat. As he expected there was nothing near the fire. The tavern was full of men drinking and talking amongst themselves. He couldn't see an open seat anywhere, until he spotted a table in the far back corner. It was the worst seat in the house, farthest away from the fire, and only one other man was sitting there. Walking over Trevalin brushed past a man that was on his way out, skillfully taking the man's money pouch as he passed and sat down across from the stranger.

"Do ya mind if I have a seat?"

Trevalin was already sizing up how much this man was worth, and figured it wasn't very much. The man was noticeably bigger than Trevalin. Nearly double his size and most likely at least a good foot taller. He was dressed as a commoner and didn't look like he had much silver.
"I mind. Find another table."
"I must apologize, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Trevalin of Freeport."
"The names Becker."
"Let me buy you a drink. It'll keep the cold away eh."
Becker waited a moment eyeing Trevalin suspiciously.
"I'll have a Dark Ail."

Smiling, Trevalin called over one of the serving maids and ordered a pitcher of dark ail for them both. The woman demanded to see his silver first and Trevalin counted out what he had acquired from that passing stranger. It was enough to get him the pitcher as well as a hot meal. The Ale came and the two took a drink. Once Becker took a sip his mood seemed to lighten.

"What brings you to Terra's Edge?"

Trevalin took a sip of Ale while he though about how to answer. He had no honest reason for being there, so he lied.

"I'm here looking for family. My sister lives here and I've come to visit."
"You came all the way from Freeport?"
"Yes... well... I wanted to be here when her baby was born. It's expected any time now... but enough about me, what kind of work are you in?"
The serving maid brought Trevalin his meal, but before she could turn to leave the door burst open, loud enough for everyone in the tavern to stop and look. Trevalin recognized the man who had entered as the owner of the pouch he lifted. Realizing that it was time for him to go Trevalin quickly ate as much of his meal as he could before he stood up and tried to make his way to the door. The man he had robbed was searching through the tavern, Trevalin had no doubt he was looking for the thief... him. Avoiding eye contact Trevalin casually walked towards the door, but before he could leave he was stopped.

"Where do ya think you're off to?"
"It's getting late, I really must be getting home... My wife will be wondering what I've been up to."

The man looked him over, but Trevalin stood his ground. He could smell the rum on the man's breath and could tell that he was more than a little drunk. The man grabbed the pouch and held it up. It was empty.

"Sir, if you'll excuse me I really must be on my way..."
"This is my pouch!"

Trevalin looked around. He didn't like the looks of this one bit. The talking in the tavern had stopped and everyone was watching.

"I assure you, this pouch is mine... It looks just like every other money pouch in the city..."

The fact that this pouch was identical to most everyone else's money pouch seemed to make no difference. Trevalin was in the wrong place at the wrong time. If he had just stayed sitting down some other unlucky man could be in his position. Before he could try to say another word a large fist hit him across the jaw. He heard the sounds of chairs scrapping across the floor as people moved out of his way to let him fall. Trevalin fell down hard. The man that had hit him was not very big, but he was strong. Lying on the ground, Trevalin rubbed his jaw. The man stood there waiting for him to get to his feet. He could hear the tavern keeper yelling at them to take it outside. Getting to his feet the man came at him again, but this time Trevalin seen it coming and was able to easily move out of the way. He was still sober, unlike the other man. He didn't see this ending very well as the man came at him again. Before the man could strike a large wooden bat slammed against the counter. The man stopped and looked, as did Trevalin. The tavern owner stood holding his bat, satisfied that he got their attention.

"No fighting inside. Take it outside before I have to carry you out."

Neither man argued and Trevalin reluctantly followed the other man out. In a matter of moments the customers of the tavern were all outside ready to watch a fight. Trevalin had no intention of fighting, but before he could run a ring of people stood around them. His escape cut off, he had no choice but to stay. The drunkard came at him, but Trevalin was easily able to keep his distance. They began circling each other and Trevalin sized up his opponent. He would take any advantage he could get, but he couldn't see any. Then he noticed the man had a dagger to his left side. It was a fairly small blade, but it would work perfectly. Trevalin had more than enough weapons he could use, but if he killed this man he wouldn't use his weapon. Not with so many witnesses. Taking a chance Trevalin took a running few steps towards the man and charged into him. He hit the man hard enough for them both to fall to the ground. Unfortunately the man was quicker to recover and soon held the advantage with Trevalin pinned on the ground. Trevalin felt blood running down his face as the man began to repeatedly strike him. Trevalin took this time to quickly unsheathe the man's dagger and drop it to the ground. With this accomplished he quickly moved to get away. He was able to get to his feet quickly and move to get some distance between them. The crowd was cheering, and the drunk was building his confidence. The dagger lay in the dirt at the man's feet, but he didn't seem to notice it. Trevalin wanted him to use it, and providing he wasn't very good with it he would gain a huge advantage.

"You draw a weapon?" Trevalin indicated the dagger than lay on the ground. "Go ahead pick it up, you must be as clumsy with it as you are with your fist."

The man began to laugh as he picked up his dagger.
"You will regret taking my money thief."

Trevalin smiled as the man came at him. The man thrust the dagger at his abdomen, but it was easily sidestepped. With a fluently practiced motion Trevalin grabbed the man's arm and bent it back, putting pressure on his elbow and causing him to cry out in pain as Trevalin pried the dagger from his hand and quickly turned it on him. Before the drunk realized what was happening Trevalin had disarmed him and plunged the dagger into his chest. The man cried out as he fell to the ground. The cheering from the crowd stopped as Trevalin stood over the dying man.
