Massacre Game Information

No turn-rate mahem. Use your start turns wisely and patiently as you will get no more. Unless you kill someone for them. No deletion, 4 realms will last you the age. How long can you stay alive? How many times will you die?

Starting Acres: 500
NPP Turns: 1000 (See Additional Info)

Alliance Information
Allies are Allowed
Working alongside other Players is allowed
Requesting aid from other Players is allowed
No Guilds
Shadow Guilds IN THE SAME FAITH are Allowed

Race Information
Races Available: Human, Elven, Goblin, Droben, Vampire, Elemental, Sidhe, Centaur, Dwarven
Race Statistics: Publically Available (See Links)

Vacation Mode
This game is not effected by Vacation mode. Please be aware that if you place your account on vacation mode, any living Massacre realms will not be made unattackable.

Additional Information
  • First Realm. The leadername from this realm will be stored in the 'Guild' variable in this realm and the other realms (up to a maximum of 4) that you might make. This is seen when scouting your kingdom.

    The faith that you chose for this realm is also remembered. Any additional realm you create will not have a faith option. This is primarily to prevent you having the ability to attack your own realms.

  • New Player Protection (NPP). Massacre realms have been granted 1000 turns of New Player Protection. Throughout this period your realm is unable to attack or to be attacked.

    NPP ends in one of 2 ways.

    1.) By spending more than 1000 turns.
    2.) By selecting the Leave NPP option.
  • Turns. Turnrate is now irrelevent. Massacre realms are granted all of their turns at the very start. The first creation for each of your four possible realms starts with 7500 turns. All subsequent restarts in the realm start with 4500 turns for the first recreation. Subesquent realms start with 4500 turns minus 100 for each time your realm has died. The minimum turns that can be restarted with, is 2500.

    The logout funtion has been removed. Although the 5 turns you get for voting are still available.

    You can claim a Bounty for each realm that you kill. Point of kill is recorded, and the amount of turns remaining in the dead realm are stored alongside the killer in the database. At any point you can claim your turns from the 'Foriegn Affairs' screen.
  • Restarting and Deleting. Deleting has been disabled in massacre. You can create 4 realms in an age and get the large start turns once per realm. Once your turns have run out you can restart your realm.

    A realm can be restarted with the Restart option.

    1.) If the realm is still inside New Player Protection (Please note that if you restart during the NPP of a realm with 7500 turns you will lose the 3000 turn bonus.)
    2.) If the realm has zero turns and has not attacked (or been attacked) for 48 hours.
    3.) If the realm has less than 2000 acres and has not attacked (or been attacked) for 48 hours.

    Restarted realms start with 4500 turns initially, and then lose 100 turns per restart for each death, until 2500 turns (which is minimum for a restart).
  • The Load / Save function. Massacre introduces a new save function which can be used during NPP. At any point up to and including 1000 turns spent you are able to save the current status of your build.

    A save includes.

    a.) Race
    b.) Buildings
    c.) Income
    d.) Expenses
    e.) Networth
    f.) Turns Spent
    g.) Elan
    h.) Gold

    It does not include Army or Scum. When saving your build you have the choice of saving a Public save which can be restored by anyone, or a Private save which can only be restored by you.

    You can chose to Load one of the save builds at any point during NPP. You may chose to The Saved builds are stored by race and will CHANGE your race to the race used to create the save.
  • The Score Screens. Due to the short lifespan a realm can expect playing Massacre additional screens have been developed to work alongside the current Scrolls of the time.

    Turns Aborbed Average. Each turn that gets spent against your realm is added into the database. The total is then divided by the number of times your realm has been killed.

    Points. Points are scored by realms that are alive and out of New Player Protection and are collected every 20 minutes. They are designed to be an indicator of your rank over the duration of the age. Points have been averaged, by dividing them by the number of times a realm has died.

    3 pts [701-1000]Baron / Baroness
    1 pts [1000+]Nobleman / Noblewoman

    Top Networth, Kills and Deaths (and a Kills to Deaths ratio) are also being recorded as the game progresses.

Things to bare in mind

1. Do not get too attached to your realm. Realms get killed in Massacre often due to being forced to kill a realm before you can declare on a new one and continue expanding.

2. There is no need to complain about poor hits. The nature of Massacre is that you are going to get attacked by bigger realms trying to establish a good basis for scoring points. If you get destroyed by a larger realm, restart and take them out. Even with realms that have been restarted 4 x 4500 turns can kill anything.

3. Have fun. It's kill or be killed out there. War On!
