Sombody has been posting war decs that corrupt the UB output. They are fixed easy enough by the next input but i want to know why they corrupt.

Whoever posted war decs about 4 hours ago can you contact me letting me know if your doing anything different and also what browser/os you use

It'll be to do with the browser more than likely. Firefox seperates the sections with a tab, IE6 with a space. This make writing the parsing script aukward because you have to take both methods into account. I suspect Im going to need to rewrite it to take a third into consideration.

When people submit war decs, can you please check the wars page after. If every war now states 'peace' then i need a copy of whatever you pasted, and to know what browser/os you use so i can fix it.

To keep the formatting from your browser can you paste it in notepad and mail it to me ogp@theten.co.uk please

I think it could have been mine last night - but I didn't check afterwards. I used my Mac Safari to do it! I will just not add war decs anymore if I am at home or will use explorer if I for some reason really need to.

LOL, I love how the fake wars become so obvious with this, along with the known farmers up to their old tricks in the search for the gold.

Well you say that but my last war was a 20k blind uphit (like 20k counts as up...) afterfluff) but if you'd believe the war history it looks more like a 100k downhit ;-)

Yeah, there will never be a true way of determining the exact 'start' stat unless everybody submit the pre-scrolls, declare war and then submit the war decs to ensure your start stats show up in the list before the dec announcement.

There is the nets from a few days before and after 'detection' though. Best way to assume start stats i find is to take the stats two before the detected notice, as usually the stats immediatly before detected were from the same time as the scroll and may have missed start time

those realm number links on the current scroll page now take you to a war history page for that realm.

Few finishing touches needed to be added to the view war screens but the shell is now complete.

UBSolo should be working again.

Had some DNS issues and im having go go through adding all the subdomains again to make them function.

guilds.ultimabase and valid.ultimabase domains were also effected. Guilds is fixed, Valid will be soon

Sorry 'bout this

Valid shoudl also be fixed but doesnt seem to work. Will check in a couple of hours to see if the DNS propogates and then try again if not sorted
