Like all religions, the Holy Religion of the Invisible Pink Unicorn is based upon both Logic and Faith. We have Faith that She is Pink; and we Logically know that She is Invisible, because we can't see Her.

What a bullshit hit.

Fervent gets first strike AND has a daily advantage of 792 turns.

Considering 2/3 of Fervent hasn't played their turns in two weeks that should negate most of the turn advantage. :p

(OOC: Prior to strike Fervent's high net was 607,000 and Rot's was 1,429,000 Good Luck to all involved)

The stormclouds of war had gathered for days. For hours now the warriors of Barnabas had sat idle while heathen thieves burnt and destroyed thousands of Barnabas's holy places and market squares. Furthermore the cauffers of the High Kings was robbed on more then one occasion even with the King's most loyal guardians keeping a watchful eye.

The horn of war had come and Fervent's warriors stood ready, Venus the leader of the free peoples of Fervent had summoned the leaders and their Armies for one final fury into the lands of the pagan and false God...Leto.

The Armies marched for many miles knowing all to well that the call of war was not to march to a glorious victory, nor strike deep into the heart of the enemies empire, but to kill every man woman and child of the pagan ways. All must perish for their sins of false worship, even if it means the death of every leader of Fervent's Kingdoms.

A grey mist swirled on an open plain. The leaders of the great kingdoms of Barnabas surveying the intelligence the scout patrols had collected while surveying the heathen realms. The enemy was well prepared thousands of dragons and foot soldiers were the cornerstone of the enemies armies. However their were some weaknesses in the enemies defense. Their smaller kingdoms were relatively undefended and were ripe for the plunder.

After the meeting Nymphsong returned to his warriors who only seemed slightly optimistic at the premise of attacking. He looked over his soldiers, some had seen more war then should ever see and some were just young lads looking for action. Nymph allowed a smile to purse his lips, indeed their would be action on this eve, and their would be justice for Leto's intrusions onto the lands of Barnabas so many times.

"Warriors of the old ways, we have gathered here for one final fury, one final strike, one final blow into the heart of the enemy!"

The cheers panged throughout the line of cavalry, the Elven warriors seemed eager to die for the leaders demands but more importantly their God's demands.

One of the Nymphsong's follower's approached and asked, "M'lord should we send the enemy an envoy to inform them of our official declaration of war?"

Nymphsong looked at the man pure disdain in his eyes, "Listen to me good because I will only say this once, did Leto leave an official declaration when they emptied our cauffers? Did Leto leave an official declaration when the burnt our markets? Did Leto leave an official declaration when they burnt our Holiest of Holies the Sacred Temples of Barnabas HIMSELF!? DID THEY!? Now listen here, the only word this enemy deserves as an official declaration is the sound of our horses hooves trampling the bodies of the dead and dieing!"

The Follower bowed low, but Nymphsong could tell the man was hiding a smile deep in his heart.

Nymphsong looked back over the troops satisfied that they knew the causes purpose, "Sound the horn of battle! Charge!"

The knights and their horses charged their lances lowered, the infantry charged swords drawn for bloody battle, fiery arrows from the archers rained down upon the enemy cities and defenses, the dragons came from above and picked off wall guards defending the forts, the Mayhem of war had begun. The streets soon ran red with the blood of Pagans, indeed this was the way Barnabas would have wanted it, bloody and unforgiving. Sorceries from the temple priests raised the lands of Leto in pyre. The screams of the Pagans could be heard for many miles.

The scene of destruction was perfect.

Nice hit. Second age you hit us while we're first way after the age should have ended.

Considering all you can do is sorc kill now vs our 3 kingdoms (now 2). I'm sure 20 kingdoms is sufficicient to do one of the other two everyother day.

Nice strike, but don't think its a better one then it is.

Why not? Cause they didn't let you cakewalk your way thru the age?

Sorc killing is just as legitimate as warring so get over it.

I agree with Vox. If you can't take the sorce attacks, then you should have built more temps with your pretty much more than half age long of build time.

WTF do you think I built? I had 9k temples before the MUM war. But the bitch of just getting out of war is you lose temples (backlash and burning). I was down to 1100 then when Fervent hit I only had 3200 or so.

Conclusion: excess land prevented you from building enough temples, but your greed made you keep the land. Tough luck. :)
