### Lotto 244/245 - Second Stumper (Closed)

Posted:

**Wed Dec 03, 2008 6:34 am**Since the Lotto generator is still broken, and with the holidays coming soon, we'll extend the lotto's for now. They'll run for two weeks and both the numbers which are generated will count. You can, however, submit only one set of numbers.

Rules:

Only one post per person (not per alt), per week.

Submit your numbers before 02:00am Eastern (02:00 EDT 'gametime') this coming Sunday.

You may post 4 x 4-digit numbers.

Posts containing more than 4 sets of numbers will be void.

Winners may only claim one prize.

If you have multiple winning numbers you must accept the largest of the prizes.

You may win prizes based on how many numbers are correctly matched to the winning number. The numbers must be in the same digit place. Example: 1234 and 1243 have the two common numbers of 1 and 2. But the 3 and 4 are not in the correct place. In the case two numbers match, you will win the Lesser Prize. If three numbers match, you receive the Runner-Up prize. If you're lucky enough to have chosen all four numbers correctly, you will receive the Jackpot!!

Repeat numbers are allowed and all numbers between 0000 and 9999 are acceptable.

Prizes:

You may win vertically on any of the 4 lines.

You may only win horizontally on your first 3 lines (the 4th line is used to create the vertical entries).

You may get the jackpot on a left to right diagonal (but only the jackpot)

Match 4 Left to Right Diagonal (all numbers in correct up or down diagonal placement order) - Total Participants from this week x 1.25 million or trade cash winnings for 70 turns

Match 4 Horizontal (all numbers in correct horizontal placement order - first three lines only) - Total Participants from this week x 1 million or trade cash winnings for 60 turns

Match 4 Vertical (all numbers in correct vertical placement order) - Total Participants from this week x 750,000 or trade cash winnings for 45 turns

Match 3 Horizontal (3 numbers in correct horizontal placement order- first three lines only): $25 million or trade the cash winnings for 40 turns

Match 3 Vertical (3 numbers in correct vertical placement order): $15 million or trade the cash winnings for 30 turns

Match 2 Horizontal (2 numbers in correct horizontal placement order- first three lines only): 30 turns

Match 2 Vertical (2 numbers in correct vertical placement order): 20 turns

Nearly-There Prize (All numbers but not in correct placement order horizontal or vertical - first three horizontal lines only): 25 turns

Three Page Bonus (Thread reaching 3 or more pages of majority entries): 5 turns per page

12 turns will be awarded for 40 posts of majority entries

Trivia questions are worth a maximum of 15 turns, this may vary.

If the double rule from the Dice Game mentioned in last week's Spencer's Stumper is eliminated, 2 and 12 are new possible totals. Beth informs Kim that 2 is worth the same as 6 and 10.

"Ohh, so if 10 is a value of 1... that means 7 is a value of 3, right?" Kim asks.

"This is why I like you, you're so clever! I'm glad I didn't have to spell that out for you. Yes, you're right!" Beth smiles.

How much is 12 worth?
