The Welcome Voice Dax Event!! (winners posted)

Postby Voice Aeneas » Tue Nov 06, 2007 5:51 am

As you all may have noticed, there's a new Voice in town: Voice Dax.

I want to celebrate that very fact (and that I finally have someone to boss around) and that's where this event comes in.

You get to welcome him in the most exaggerated way possible. Anything goes: pictures (with captions or not), roleplays, short stories, etc.

Turns will go to the three entries which make him feel most at home here in the lovely world of Events and to the three entries which make us laugh the most.

Again if this thread reaches page three everyone who entered will be awarded some turns, the amount of which may vary depending on the final amount of entries.

So get to it and make my new slave feel at home! ;>

'Will you come into our circle?
Said the warrior with a grin,
'There are others hiding with us,
Will you kindly follow in?'

'See how eloquently the stories,
With their settings, do abound,
They are waiting for another -
Won't you put some fine words down?'

'You really will enjoy it,
For it's very plain to see,
That your personal motivation
Is calling you with glee'

'To come into our circle,
So that all you have in mind,
Is written down and seen by us
Confirming that we find

'Another pleasing writer
Who will entertain us too',
And without a hesitation
Spammers Delight sang "were with you!"

welcome voice dax..... i reckon we all got to start out somewhere, even if its in events....

i mean really, tom arnold had to start out fucking rossanne barr.....and i am pretty sure this gig is way better then that. although i must admit he is now rich and famous and the best you can hope for is someday graduating to guilds....or maybe even attaining the golden spatula (yea i am a sponge bob fan) and end up in comments....but either way i wish you the best of luck.....

kind of reminds me of that girl at the car wash......the one that has to buff the tires. she is so comitted to the task but ya know that as she goes about her day,, she dreams of someday moving up.........someday moving up to windows....she gives it her all, even though every time she bends over to buff them tires some old dude holding a dollar and a claim ticket is thinking..........i would tap that ass.....she buffs away.....it might only be tires today but someday windows...and if she kisses enough ass... the register......wouldnt that be swueet..........

dont ever forget this is america, the land of opportunity and no matter how far down the totem pole ya start......... anything is possible.....

good luck and best wishes...........

Alright, we have appointed three winners and one runner-up!

The three best welcomes were:

~Maliki~ : a very original and amusing poem. 40 turns for your poetic soul!
Eisheth : welcome to hell. How fitting! 40 turns go to the land of ass.
Virch : tom arnold had to start out fucking rossanne barr. Let us not mention what Dax had to do with SoulDemon in order to get this position. 40 turns to the car wash, and God bless America!

Congratulations!

The runner-up is I]\/[mortality with his picture. It lacked the originality of the three winners, but made us laugh nevertheless. 25 turns for 'Air' Canada!

Winners can claim their turns by sending me a PM with the event, amount of turns won, and the kingdom (and game) to award the turns to. Since I have received some questions regarding this lately: yes, turns can be donated to other players/realms.
